Do we ever get an answer to if the anomalies happened before the first episode? I feel like we don't buy I could be forgetting.

I think the first episode shows they were happening before it - Helen was onto something with finding anomalies pre-series as we know it, and that’s how she ended up getting lost through one. 

I think - and someone correct me if I’m wrong - anomalies were around but were far less frequent so didn’t go detected/didn’t stay open as long as didn’t necessarily result in incursions.

Primeval mobile game. Like Pokemon go or that Harry potter one. You go around and try to get creatures back through (if they come through) and lock the anomalies. Tell me this is a good idea to get fans both old and new interested in Primeval again...

I’d absolutely play a Primeval game!

I just binge watched Primeval and I probably cried a thousand times but nothing prepared me for that series 5 finale. And does Primeval New World take place after series 5? I hope both series come back :)

Primeval New World appears to be set after the events of season five, which would explain why it’s never referenced in the original series. 

Connor’s appearances in New World also seem to suggest it could have been designed to run parallel with a sixth or seventh season of the original show, as his character seems to be attempting to prevent something from happening that’s changed the world as he knows it.

At the end when matt tell himself to go back does he mean go back to his time or go back to the beginning when he first went into the past to try and change the future again?

That’s still a closely guarded secret and one that will probably remain closely guarded until a time all hope is lost regarding bringing the show back! It’s also something Primeval fans often debate, with some wondering if Matt remaining in the present somehow brings on a cataclysmic event to rival convergence…

Have there been any developments after that article about Adrian regarding season 6 or the feature film?

No developments as of yet but if you follow the production company, Impossible Pictures, on Twitter (also Facebook and Instagram), you’ll see that they’ve not given up hope on finding a way to bring the show back in some way. Fingers crossed! :)
