after a brief reunion with the nobleman, the glitz and glamour of a nearby arcade caught Petra’s attention & she was quick to pull her friend into the antics, both being drawn to the claw machines and the prizes that awaited them.

    ❝ agh - - did you see that ?! it was almost within our grasp ... impossible ... what play of foul occurs here ...  ❞ ever the competitive one, Petra diverts her attention from the machine for a moment and focuses onto Ferdinand, looking up in amusement.

     ❝ Ferdinand, you are a man of wisdom ... how do we defeat this?  ❞

Petra finds herself staring upon the setting sun, indulging in what they call ‘buttered popcorn’ here, it must be a luxury because she’s having a wonderful time with it. 

        & she did not even have to look around to know it was Hubert behind her.

petra had bumped into dorothea not too long ago, it seemed the other woman had quickly got into the swing of things, but petra always knew the other was a natural when it came to adapting, she would say dorothea was a true survivalist but that didn’t see very becoming of a songstress perhaps?

    so she simply sips from the gingerbread latte currently warming her hands up.

that was highly unlikely, Petra was incredibly proud of her 20/20 vision, so instead she moves forward into the unknown and into the sight of someone very familiar. doing her best to keep a stern expression but she has always had the habit of wearing her heart on her sleeve - so here comes a mix of excitement, surprise & relief.
