Reccer’s Notes: I'm still not sure what I like most of the fic - the way Penknife captures the essentially piratical elements of Elizabeth, or Jack Sparrow's ... Captain Jack-ness, or Norrington's self-loathing (actually, I do know, it's Gibbs.) It's that all this is managed despite a fantastical plot, in the best sense of that word. Fantastic fic.
