"Son nee ee sonee!" (*Now get out) he yells as he uses his psychic powers to fling his mother out of the cave with a swiping motion of his paw. Rubbing his face with both paws, he lets out an irritated sigh. Just then, a familiar psychic energy surrounds him and lifts him out of the nest. "Hello again, little one," says a voice in his mind. A voice he knows very well. A voice he's heard in different lifetime. "Son son nee," (*Hello again, papa) he greet affectionately.

The energy turns him toward the back of the cave and draws him forward as he looks down at his paws with confusion. *"Nee so eee son sonee..," (*What happened?) he asked the being.

As a fifth egg begins to hatch at the same time as the others. A newborn hybrid is coming out of his egg. His mother can only look on in horror. "Wh-what is that thing?!" she whispers as she looks over the being. He looks like no pokemon she's ever seen. "This abomination isn't my child!" she hisses hatefully as he opens his golden eyes. Oddly enough, there is a look of resignation. Then he cried out*",Son-EE!" (I won't let you hurt me!) before using powers he shouldn't have. Psychic powers.

"Ah! Put me down!!" his mother cries out, seemingly unable to understand him.

Four eggs of seven begin to rock and hatch as rainbow light pours from inside. Horrified, the confused parent can only watch.

A note about the redesign for the Chaotic Combo.  I wanted to just give my interpretation of the combo.  If people prefer them the normal way, I am willing to change this.

'I wonder if I can ever be a Pikachu again...,' the hybrid wonders for a second.  then he shakes his head with a frustrated expression.

"No!  This is no time to feel sorry for myself," he s=chastises himself before looking at the rubble left behind by the monster.

The pavement has been ripped up and there is a massive crater.  Several buildings have also been demolished.  "The city has been destroyed and the survivors need help," he continues, preparing to jump into action.

"Might as well put this new form to use," he declare, determination on his face.

Sonic runs toward Tails, turning to yell at the hybrid over his shoulder.  "Sorry!  I gotta go!" he apologizes.  Then he leaps into the air to grab Tails's hands.

"Let's go Tails!" he urges as the pair fly off.

"I wish he had more time to explain...," the hybrid thinks to himself as he watches them disappear into the distance.

Back at Station Square, Sonic seems a bit unsure as he tries to explain.  "It's sorta hard to explain the Chaos Emeralds but...," he begins, rubbing his arm while the hybrid listens curiously. 

"Sonic!" calls out a voice from a fair distance away, making Sonic turn his head to see his friend flying towards them with a concerned expression.

"Huh?  Tails?" Sonic asks, a bit confused why his friend was so concerned.

"Sally and Amy called!  The signals from the Chaos Emeralds are gone!" Tails calls down.

"WHAT?!  That's impossible!" Sonic retorts, shock and fear clear on his face.

"If Egghead finds them before we do...," he continues, pinching his brow as he frowns.

Seeming pleased, Giovanni walks past some machinery, thinking to himself 'I'll Release you soon...'  He comes to a stop in front of a fluid filled tube.  He places his hand over the glass, resting it over a hand belonging to a specimen in the container almost affectionately.

'My son...,' he finishes the thought, almost excited at the prospect.

At Robotnik's lab, he calls out two names.  "Scratch!" he hollers, getting a salute from a rooster badnik.

"Grounder!" he calls out again, getting a salute from a green, mole badnik.

"Its time to build a robot," he declares, eager to get started as soon as possible.

At Rocket Headquarters, Giovanni seems overjoyed and excited.  "Graduon was right!  The prophecies are coming true!" he says to himself as the screen behind him turns off.

"I *must* capture this new species before Ivo does," he announces with an evil smirk on his face.

Meanwhile, Robotnik is making his own plans at his base.  "Heh, its just as I was told," he muses to himself with a wide grin.

"I *must* roboticize him before Giovanni gets him," he states, almost seeming happy about the prospect.

Meanwhile, a monitor is sending a video feed of the conversation. "You're a hedgehog/pokemon hybrid," Sonic informs while Giovanni grins evilly. At another place, Robotnik also watches the conversation while grinning to himself.

"The power of the Chaos Emeralds changed you," Sonic tells the confused hybrid.

"What are the Chaos Emeralds?" he asks.

"I'm Sonic!" he introduces, taking the hybrid's hand and shaking it as the Chaos Emeralds' powers dissipate. Meanwhile a Zubat and a Badknik are flying in the air, seemingly recording.

"I guess I should explain now," Sonic begins, rubbing the back of his head while looking abashed.

"Let's start with what you are," he continues.

Perfect Chaos screams as it returns back to being water and nothing more. "Great job!" Super Sonic calls down to the hybrid before flying over and landing by him.

The attack hits, causing the beast to scream in pain. Stunned, Super Sonic watches. "Wh-what the…," he murmurs, wondering wehre the attack came from

"The guy I ran into…," Super Sonic murmurs as he turns his head and sees the hybrid is the source.

"I did it!" the hybrid declares, seeming pleased.

"I can't just stand here…," the hybrid thinks to himself.

"I have to help!' he realizes as he watches Super Sonic fight.

"I just hope my electricity still works," he worries as storm clouds form and lightning begins to spark from his cheeks.

"THUNDERSHOCK!" he calls out as he points at the enemy. At the same time, lightning hits him and is channeled into an attack.

"I feel less naked..," Rosechu admits before looking down at one of her hands.

"But… what am I?" she asks.

"I'm not really sure…," Kel begins, worried for her friend and partner.

"You seem to be a hedgehog hybrid," Kel finishes.

"Those creatures on the news?" Rosechu inquires.

"Yes," Kel responds.
