Came to an understanding

I've been on a journey to know and understand myself completely. To be able to be comfortable in my skin and love myself fully, because let me tell y'all for a while I didn't. I was so lost and didn't know my worth, I was constantly avoiding my problems and hated myself for the way I was and the way I looked. God knows I've been through hell and back trying to find myself but in the process I became a stronger person and started to understand why I was going through all of these things and that was not only to be who I am today but also to be where I am today on this journey called life. I now know and love myself a lot better than I did 2 months ago and am so proud of who I am and how far I've come. Every tragedy is a blessing in disguise and whether you choose to be grateful or resentful is entirely up to you, but remember there is always a bigger picture. - H.M.A
