He stared at her as she left. There was no way he'd be able to catch up on her like this -but he wasn't alone. All it took was some road blocks and she'd meet a dead in no time.
Bad cop pulled the radio transmitter from his chest, barking a few orders into it.
That was dealt with- now he just needed to pick up his car and catch up with the pile of bricks that car of hers should be soon. If it wasn't already- his men was usually quick.
Seeing as Bad Cop was  likely to advance fast if she didn’t get a move on, Wyldstyle didn’t want to miss any opportunity to escape. She tried to bare the pain and finalised the construction, turning the mish-mash of bricks into a lean, mean sports car. She hopped in, grimacing at the pain in her arm but focusing on the steering wheel in front of her. Turning her head, she smirked at Bad Cop.
"Try catching this!”
Turning the key, the engine rumbled to life. Now, all that was left was to put it in gear and speed out of there. Hopefully, she wouldn’t have any obstructions to deal with.

"Oh, of course. You're lost."
Tumblr media
Why was it that everyone always came to him when they didn't know where to go? There were other police officers around the city, of course, but everyone always beelined towards him for some inexplicable reason. Still, he had no reasons to be mad at the boy, so...
"I'd need to know who you are and where you come from, first off." He added. "And what that thing is you're trying to hide."
Things that were put away as soon as he was approached usually meant something illegal, so he took extra care in pointing it out. "Anything important, maybe?"
Tumblr media
    "Uh..
Sorry, sir. I don’t mean to cause trouble. I was just— well, uh.. I’m.. I’m sort of lost. Can you tell me where I am?"
It was true enough. Yes, the boy really was clueless about where he was, but it wasn’t as if he’d simply been walking along and had suddenly wound up in a completely different location. He had deliberately went through a portal, and it was entirely his fault that he had gotten himself lost, straying too far away from the space rip to find his way back.
He didn’t feel that the cop had to know that, however, so he decided to try and play the “innocent lost child” card, tucking his heavy crimson journal into his vest.

I have a feeling you're not from around here. Regardless, as a police officer, it's my duty to offer my assistance.

So. What do you want? Don't go and waste my time.

He would have been right after her, if not for the fact he was on his own - there were no SWAT cars anywhere near, and he didn't think any could actually catch up him fast enough to mater. So he'd have to rely on his wits this time.
The stray bullet that struck her was a point in his favor, though, and he smiled, knowing if anything, it'd hamper her. He'd just have to aim better this time, predict where she was going to end up. Think like a Master Builder, if you will.
Wyldstyle built as fast as she could, narrowly avoiding the line of fire each time she moved onto another section. She tried to put all of her focus into building a high-speed car that she could just hop in and drive off unscathed.
Her thoughts came as a jinx however, and she felt something hot clip the side of her arm. Dammit, of course he wasn’t going to let her away so easily. Clenching her teeth, she immediately held her hand over it as pain shot up through her body. Though at this rate, if she didn’t ignore it and move fast Bad Cop would already be straight on her tail.

"Because I."
Bad Cop just stared at her.
"Because I don't want to." Maybe this was in fact kind of a flimsy excuse, but it was all he had at this point.
She gave another sassy hair flip in his direction. “Oh? And if you’re so sure of yerself, why dun you let me talk to ‘im, meself? After all, you know ‘im “so well” !”

"....as if I had to ask him anything. He knows perfectly well not t'mess with things." Bad Cop snapped. "Especially since he doesn't even know ye."
He still pointed the sword at her.
"....so. How about you do not give me a reason to push you overboard instead? How's that?"
She let out another giggle. “Are you sure, sweet thing?” She gave a sly smile.
"Because it sounds to me that you have ask Good Cop first before doing such a thing." A small hair flip.
"After all, he is stuck with you. If you drown me, then he’ll have to live with the guilt that he let you drown a small girl!"

Good Cop may have been the better of the two,but even he realised when something illegal was taking place. His face snapped back around to Bad Cop, who pulled out a gun the moment she headed off to grab the bricks.
"HEY HEY HEY! What do you think you're doing?!"
Aiming the weapon proved to be a little bit difficult, seeing as she was moving so fast, but he hoped it'd at least deter her from moving any more and ... building things.
Wyldstyle raised an eyebrow quizzically. Staring at his hand, she didn’t bother to shake it. “You don’t need to know my identity. And you’re not gonna ever find out, either.” Quickly scanning the area for bricks she could use, she found some that were perfect for making a getaway vehicle. As swiftly as she could, she ran off to her right and made way for the pile, hoping that she would be able to build something in time.

He jabbed the sword at her again. Having her permanently stuck to him was the very last thing he wanted, honestly, and maybe trying to drown her would at least help a little.
She wouldn't be close enough to be annoying, anyway.
" ... you'd let go eventually."
She gave a smile and light laugh. “Great to see you again, Bad Cop.” She took out her pointer finger to push to tip of the sword away.
"You could try throwing me into the watery depths, but remember…"
She grabbed onto his sleeve and whispered into his ear.
"I’ll never let go…"

He didn't turn around until he heard the water splashing, but once he did, he barreled to the railing, staring at the barrels swimming in the water. Of course, he wouldn't let her get away with that.
"... are you that desperate to be thrown into the water after them?!" He snarled at her, sword already unsheathed again.
She sneaked carefully and quietly behind him, throwing all of the barrels of supplies overboard and off the ship. They hit the water with a light splash.

Note
"Hello there friend!" Said NiceCop (AKA fem GoodCop)
People really needed to get off the ship - or at least stop getting on it without permission. Bad Cop eyed the other suspiciously.
"Where'd you come from...?"
