Rebuilt the Bridge Walker into the Raven Attacker and here's my review:
Cons:
There isn't much space to hold the thing, no handle beneath, so it's not incredibly swooshable.
There is some cheating involved, requiring you to source 4 pieces from White Lightning, those being two 2L pins for the nose guns and more crucially 2 3L pin/axle hole parts to attach the long cannons on the wingtips.
Tumblr media
I did omit these in my reconstruction as to keep the build "pure" and leave White Lightning intact; Additionally as the longer pieces are required for White Lightning's own alternate build.
One minor gripe may be that the pilot, a monochrome Devastator, is legless as well, and even sacrifices parts of his fellow robots to the build.
Tumblr media
Pros:
This is a quite sizeable alternate model. I had been holding off on its construction as I was under the impression it would not hold up to the presence of Bridge Walker, and I was pleasantly surprised to find otherwise.
Indeed, the leftover parts is a rather small pool:
Tumblr media
As is a very common issue with Exo-Force alternate builds, stability comes into question, and is very happily answered: Yes! It is one of the most stable Exo-Force alternate builds I have done, the only questionable portions being the wingtips' alignment during construction, as there is no proper spacers to keep the Technic beams from flexing.
It sounds like I have more gripes than praise, but I absolutely think this alternate build is well worth the time and effort to slap together.
Solid 8/10.

I KNOW THOSE PARTS
Tumblr media
Because I have that set's sibling! This is 9374 Strike from Mega Bloks' Blok Bots theme, although the one used in the MOC is 9375 Warp
Tumblr media
(Picture from Google)
I'm absolutely obsessed with the line, although Strife is the only one from the Cyborgs vs Mutroids wave that I have so far.
Thrilled to see another fan, or at least the parts being used!

Note
Here's a list of all the sets the lightsaber blade piece comes in in orange:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=30374&colorID=18&in=A
Interestingly, looks like that piece only comes in trans-neon orange, not trans-orange. With TNO being phased out now, I imagine we should eventually be getting a new colour for lightsabers sooner than later!
where are the orange lightsaber blades from I need one for a plo koon so can you tell me what set I need to drop cash on
I mean that piece is in a lot of sets. I think most recently, the orange lightsaber piece showed up in a lot of the Nexo Knights and Ninjago Prime Empire sets (or whatever the whole digital world arc was called)

I bring you again MOC Monday!
Today is a two-person hover scooter. This is based on set 6801 Space Scooter from Classic Space (1981) but given a bit of a modern overhaul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I decided to add some extra details, like the second seat, nose, power cells, and changed the side nozzles into engines. It is now purpose-built as a sort of personal transport vehicle in-atmosphere rather than a spacecraft for lunar or extraterrestrial use.
Tumblr media
The top view is meant to be somewhat reminiscent of Star Trek ships.
I moved the accessory clips to the sides as well, with a cargo clip on the back. We'll see what I decide to tow with it in the future. I'd be open to hear any suggestions!

It is time again for the ever-inconsistent MOC Monday!
Or perhaps I should have posted this as a WiP Wednesday, given this build is knly about 90% complete.
Tumblr media
But the build isn't the focus here! The stickers!
A custom sticker that I printed off myself and put one on either side of the tanker to represent one of my own fictional companies within my Lego city: Østmil
Keep your eye out for more unique brands and logos on similar types of infrastructure MOCs!

Sorted out this bulk lot of trans-light blue 1x1 round plates. Potential power cells?

Once again I bring you my ever-inconsistent series MOC Monday!
Tumblr media
Today's model is. Only one picture. Because there's not a lot to it. But I'm proud of it! It's a rack for palettes, placed along the rail line near the cargo station.
Notably I'm proud of how the roof turned out, using those old ski pieces with some extra slopes for consistency. I might end up using that design for other industrial builds too! I have too many of those pieces...

Hey does anyone have advice for keeping lego sets dust free? I have a ton few Ninjago sets I like to keep out on display but I’ve had trouble keeping dust off of them and they’re a pain to dust with all the small pieces. I’ve heard of people using compressed air (keyboard cleaner? Idk what it’s called) but it’s hard with some smaller sets.

Welcome again to my irregular posting schedule!
Today is MOC Monday!
The MOC this week may seem a little underwhelming, but it's something I'm quite excited about:

Inspired by the Aero Booster, I've decided to make interchangeable backpacks for Lego mechs!

Here it is posed on a modified Golden Guardian, the Iron Condor II, and a custom Iron Condor II, which this backpack was specifically made for:

Hmm something feels familiar here...
Watch "Lego Set 7720 Diesel Freight Train Set, Battery" on YouTube
youtube
Recently bought this vintage train set from 1980.
Since I wasn't a huge fan of the locomotive or the alternates in the instructions, I checked idea book 7777 (1981) and found this exact loco, but rebuilt:
Tumblr media
It still used some auxiliary bricks, but is mostly only parts from the locomotive itself.
So of course I built it!
Tumblr media
And I love this a lot more.
