Brianna frowned when Cayden found her. She thought her hiding spot was perfect.

She walked outside of the trees and into the the main part of the lawn. They she covered her eyes and began counting. "One... Two... Three... Four..."

“Ready or not, here I come” the eight year old boy shouted, taking his hands off of his eyes and turning around. His voice could be heard throughout the house. He ran through his best friend’s house, trying to find him and his sister. The twins came over a lot, because they lived really close.

Cayden looked in several pink cabinets, and behind a lot of doors and closets. Finding no one in the nearby rooms, he went to look outside. He kept looking until he heard giggling from behind one of the trees.

Brianna took his hand. It was a great Fourth of July so far. She couldn't think of anything that would make it better.
