Brennen’s Limbi Diary

I’m Brennen. I use he/they/any pronouns, and I accidentally came into possession of 4 limbies. I made this blog for the purpose of pretty much making a diary of my experiences, hahah. I’m primarily a gardener.

My Limbies

Amaryllis

My Red Sheet Heathcliff. Incredibly rare, apparently mine was the first seen in decades. Skittish, I haven’t had him long so he hasn’t settled in yet, let alone even begun to recover from his experiences. Poor guy.

Jasmine

The K Lu I got from the same house. Extremely affectionate.. probably because they didn’t get a lot of attention until recently. Clings to me literally constantly, then cries if I try to remove them.

Gallic

My Rosesault who also came from the same house as the last two. Named after the Gallic Rose, also called the French Rose. Vet said xe was abnormally small, probably from malnutrition. If I don’t let xem sleep half the day, xe gets stressed out. Pair-bonded with my AEDD, Daisy.

Daisy

My AEDD Gregor. Named after the Electric Daisy. Hides a lot, so I haven’t seen a lot from her. Gallic often follows her. I don’t know a lot about her yet, just that she’s apparently allergic to some of the standard Limbi treats on the market.

Update on the Talisman Heathcliff, apparently he’s a breed of Heathcliff that was thought to have been eliminated?! Like, they bred a few Red Sheet Heathcliffs, didn’t like the results, got rid of them, and then made Sunshowers instead. Apparently my little guy here already had an owner… who also had like, 20 other limbies.

So anyways I now have 4 limbies. A Red Sheet Heathcliff, a K Lu, a Rosesault, and an AEDD Gregor.

I think I need a blog.

UPDATE: the Talisman Heathcliff came back again.

He had more injuries this time, it looked like someone beat him? :(

He was too injured to even get into my yard, but I saw him leaning against my fence and went to get him. I got him some food and I’m about to drive him to the emergency vet, I just wanted to let you know about the recent development.

Good on you for taking him to the vet. Poor heathcliff. If you can’t care for him then you should send him to Charon. (Charon will always care for heathcliff limbies)

I keep seeing a Heathcliff in my yard just staring at my back door. He has what looks like a chafing scar around his neck, and if I open the door he runs away. But the thing is, he doesn’t look like any Heathcliff I’ve ever seen before? He looks like a Heathcliff with Talisman Sinclair traits, which is super weird because I’ve never seen a Heathcliff who looked anything like that.

Advice? :(

hmmm... don't think im familiar with such either. my best bet would be to try setting out food for it so that it becomes more trusting of you, and then when it trusts you enough, try taking it to a vet to get it checked out. this may take some time, though, so it's best to be patient with the heathcliff and not try to force anything too early.
