                   Lynn was a bit taken aback when her classmate addressed her on such a casual note. There would've been absolutely no reason whatsoever for Marlene to be interested in any sort of interaction with her. 

      Because no matter how cheerful she always was, even around the redhead, she just couldn't figure out what drew the blonde to her. She was as mean and aggressive as one could get– why would such a sweet girl want to stick around for that?

               With an irritated frown, she ignored the invitation, focusing on the incriminating question.

          "Why? Was it a secret screening or something?"

The blonde remembers the final applause like it was yesterday; she lived for theatre and the role of Jenny had been perfect for her. Before the curtain closed she remembered spotting a familiar face. It belonged to someone she didn’t expect to see in the auditorium at all, let alone watching a two hour performance out performing arts. Most people in theatre club were sort of afraid of her, but that wasn’t the case for Marlene. She thought Lynn needed someone to be the polar opposite of her, and since she naturally was that person, she stuck around.

        ❝Hey, Lynn, why were you at the theatre last         week? You should have come see me after! ❞

She knew she shouldn’t ask, but she was curious and even though she knew this could end badly, she wanted an answer, anyway.
