Irony...
The company doing the removal of this heinous tattoo is Clean Slate Laser. They are a New York based company with several locations. They have several well trained staff memebers, but the owner Mary is who does my removal. Mary is detail oriented and does not stray away from her strict rules and guidlines to ensure her customers have amazing results. I would highly suggest if you are in my position or just want a tattoo gone, contact them. Now, the reason for my post. As you know, Kristel Oreto was the so-called-artist who did this coverup. Due to her overworking the tattoo, I ended up with a large amount of scar tissue and bleeding (which is the pigment bleeding out into other areas of the tattoo/body). I have gone to several reputable tattoo artists as well, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and removal companies. Even though I have gone for removal sessions, it has not helped the bruised look in the untattooed areas, so far. However, the sessions have helped lighten the areas that bled together making the lotus' look like solid colors. Anyway, I came across this article when I was looking up information regarding Clean Slate Laser. The irony is comical to me. The women, Kristel Oreto who has permanently damaged my body and the company, Clean Slate Laser who is trying to help me. Have a read. https://nypost.com/2018/04/25/how-tattoos-can-sabotage-your-love-life/

First session of laser cleanup all healed. Ready for the next. Thanks to my pals at Clean Slate Laser for fixing this hot mess up. Don’t get tattooed by instafamous scratchers who don’t take pride or accountability for their work.

Seriously, Kristel Oreto!! Self righteousness at its finest. You are more concerned about people "referencing" your "art" instead of making it right with the people who actually pay you for the awful tattoo they put on your skin. Get over yourself.

People don't like being called out or accountable for their actions. Kristel Oreto overworked my skin, caused blowouts and scar tissue and never once took accountability. A sheer lack of professionalism, she could have at least apologized, said I am sorry for jacking up your body after promising to give you the very best work because her reputation was important to her. Thanks for nothing Kristel Oreto. Thanks for nothing to all the people and companies who glorify artists and don't care about who they are promoting to the public. I guess it's true that money is the most important factor. Customers are supposed to be the most important people. Without us, you have nothing. I hope everyone finds out what you do to people. You should take accountability for your work! Ignoring customers is unprofessional and shameful to the tattoo industry. There are enough scratchers out there, you should be the professional artist you claim to be and take care of the people who trust you, pay top dollar for your work, and make your reputation!!!! https://bratisme13.tumblr.com/post/160714469651/ @KristelOreto @spikeinkmaster @villainarts @eternalink @visionarytattoofest @sevenswordstattoocompany @spikeinkmaster @inkedmag @inkedapparel.us @officialh2ocean @kingpintattoosupply @tattooistartmag @tattoolifemagazine @skinart_mag @spikeinkmaster @inkmaniatattooconvention @tattoomediaink @h2oceanproteam @h2ocean @inkedupindustrymagazine @inkedaustralia @inkedangelzmagazine @inked_shout_out @phillymag @nbc @abcnetwork @foxnews @philadelphia_tatttoo @philadelphiatattoo @resptattoo @philly_tattoo_milla #kristeloreto #blowoutsareyourfaultnotmine #eternalink #takethemoneyandrun #ceremonytattoosociety #scratcher #imtellingeveryone #kristeloretoart #kristeloretotattoo #fishtowntattoo #phillytattooartist #phillytattoos #Blowoutsarentmyfault #kristeloretoart #inkaddict #villianartstattooconvention #villianarts #h2oceanloyalty #ceremonytattoosociety #eternalink #tattooedwoman #philadelphiatattooconvention #philadelphiatattoo #fishtowntattoo #phillytattoos #support_good_tattooers #fishtowntattoo #superbtattoos #tattooistartmagazine #tattoocommunity #tattoolifemagazine #skinartmagazine

Customers should have the right to use their voices. If you are out there ruining people's skin without caring and taking accountability then you should accept the repercussions. Kristel Oreto Review
I made the mistake of booking a coverup up appointment with Kristel Oreto when she was at Ceremony Tattoo Society. After a million emails back and forth and her booking a show the same day she offered for my original appointment I finally secured a date. She gave me no other option except a Friday, so I took off work and to Philly I went. Kristel was cold as ice, drew up something other than what we discussed, but she was the artist so I wanted her to be creative.
After 4 hours of her tattooing she said she was finally done. I expressed I wanted the whole mandala colored and she said I could come back for her to finish it. Kristel explained her aftercare methods which were H2Ocean Soap, Saran Wrap and nothing oil based. She uses Eternal Ink which is apparently water based - Kristel says oil and water don’t mix. So you are to keep washing off plasma and put the H2Ocean on.
I had nothing but issues during the healing process. I contacted Kristel several times expressing my concerns with pictures and she kept saying everything was normal. Kristel stopped answering emails and instead had an guy Eric answering me then an apprentice named Robert. All Robert kept saying is the issues I was having were my fault an I should have compassion for Kristel. I have contacted her via email and the two addresses she has emailed me from and through social media. Not one response.
Kristel tattooed me so deeply that I was left with horrible scaring and blowout issues. My entire thigh looks like a giant bruise from all the ink bleeding out under the skin. Blowouts aren’t from aftercare. They are from the “artist”. Kristel has never, ever tried to remedy the problem, has never contacted me and at the very least has never even apologized.
I went to several artists in the area throughout the healing process who all agreed that she mutilated my skin and it looked like it went through a meat grinder. My only option at this point is to attempt laser removal, which is not guaranteed.
Also be forewarned that Kristel plays games with pricing. She quoted me a price based on a bigger tattoo with more detail. She said the deposit comes off the final price. She did a tattoo that was smaller, less detail and charged me more money and didn’t take the deposit off at the end. Shame on you Kristel. Customers are what create your reputation and it is how you make money. Not taking care of the people who trust you to give them something beautiful is nothing but stealing. Blocking me on Social Media instead of resolving the issue was the wrong thing to do.

Customers have the right to know about artists who are being promoted. If you don't want people to know you're out there mutilating people's skin, then take accountability for your actions and do right by the customer.
