Adding onto this because I've been cooking, as the series goes on and he gets more eye-avatar'd and his vitiligo spreads, it takes more eye-like shapes.
Jonathan Sims headcanon.
He didn't start 'going gray' because of stress. Bro just has vitiligo, and as he got older it spread to his head, making the hairs white. (I have something similar where some of my eyelashes and part of one of my my eyebrows is white)
