This is the finished packaging concept I created. I created this through photoshop with the correct changes to show the difference between the old packaging design and the new.
The top one is the new version while the bottom one is the original created for the formative.

This is my re-design of the original packaging. I changed the color of the box because we were given feedback that the color could have been worked on. So I decided to change the color to white, this also helps link in to the brand booklet change as well. The brand booklet follows a green and white theme and having the packaging follow it also improves the connection to the brand and packaging. I also changed the green so it was brighter for the fonts and also the logo.

These are images to visually explain how my design system works.
For text I always have the heading of the content on the page at the top left corner. This heading uses Lemon Sans Regular and for the body text I use Lemon Sans Light.
At the bottom of the page I include the logo with “brand guide” followed by the section of the book the content of the page is covering “Our Brand”. This bottom tab is used throughout the whole booklet and is used to keep track of where readers are on each page according to the table of contents.
most images follow the 4 columns I have created, each guideline has a gap of 5mm and there are 4 columns on every page. The text always start from the left and move to the right. The text box is closely snapped to the margin line to the left and any additional text is moved to the middle column right line.
Most of the body text follow the rule of Lemon Sans Light with headings and sub headings being Lemon Sans Regular with adjust text sizes.
The images usually start at the bottom of the main headings text box and span to fit the margins. Most of the images follow this system with some being changed to highlight the importance of the content within the image.
The brand guidline also uses the same colour of green for all fonts. The packaging and net designs still have the same green from the formative presentation since that colour of green is also supported in the design colours page as well.
The overall theme of the pages are white, green and sparingly used black. I did this to create a clean and environmentally related design system to illustrate what the truss product is aiming to do. Everything is designed with this notion and follows two basic rules, Modern and eco-friendly. Just like our string brand truss. This is all done to make sure that the brands values are synchronized with the brands visual representation.

This is my brand guide booklet.
I redesigned most of the booklet. I used the same fonts but made the decision to change the heading font from Lemon Sans Bold to Lemon Sans Regular. I kept the body text to Lemon Sans Light. I made these changes since I wanted to create a lighter cleaner overall aesthetic for the brand guide. I also changed one colour to another value of green because I felt like adding a little more vibrancies to the logo and brand guide.
I added in some photography from adobe stock images. I kept the personas the same and the illustrations the same as in the formative presentation.
I changed the logo to a different green from the previous formative iteration.
I also created my own design system for the guide book, I did this because I wanted to completely overhaul the existing creations we made and make a more simple and streamlined guide booklet. I kept the packaging and net designs the same since I felt it still worked well with the new design approach I was creating.
Most of the changes made were just editing and refining what we already had.
This is my final brand guide booklet for truss.

These are our groups personas. We may add more over time. but we have the basic groups that may use string for gardening. The millennial and two experienced green thumbs.

some fonts for our product. The names are all acronym's for string and could link back to our target audiences understanding of string. One of our target audiences was green thumbs who are older and are more likely to know these names. The colour also links to the tool being used for gardening and also natural colours.

after receiving more feedback I made some small refinements to the design of my blad. I got rid of the writing on the contents page because I felt like it wouldn’t make sense to have the same writing that’s on the front be on the age before the contents. I also made the numbers 01 and up so that the contents page numbers would link up to the rest of the numbers on the page. I also changed the contents and added the artists work to give an idea of what is to come in those pages and what work the artist of those pages has.
