I felt my old style of refs was way too crowded.

Anyway, I really wanted Brambleclaw to be a rather soft-spoken and quiet guy, I don't like canon Bramble very much, especially after Squirrelflight's Hope.

I couldn't decide whether I wanted to do the modern Elder!Brambleclaw or if I wanted to display my usual design for him. So I did both (mostly just added scars and did a small color change)

Letter "A" — let it be... Ashfur?!

I DISLIKE this character so much. Forgive me, Ashfur's fans and Erin Hunter, but I think he's a lousy villain. Yes, he was able to achieve great power, but I can't believe it was the same Ashfur who did it. And his motivation seems weak... He's not a villain to me. He's a silly emo boy and yandere. 😮‍💨

But Ashfur is definitely an iconic character for fandom culture and that's really great. There are so many different opinions about him... It's so interesting.

long time no post! i did the "blue-eyed gray cat" twitter design challenge april last year, and just noticed it again in my drafts. it was a fun piece i'm still fond of so i thought i'd get it out there, even if it's horrifically late lmao!

i only had designs of bluestar and cinderpelt stored away, so ashfur and crowfeather look a bit iffy to me (didn't really want to spend as much time designing them as actually drawing them). im happy enough with crow, he just needs a bit of revision, but ashfur currently is a bit too sillygoofy for any projects i'd need a design for him for. but that's that for now!
