@scramjettracy, Gordon does have a point. He knows what he's doing, and there is little point to risking the lives of more people if he can do it by himself.

Have faith in the tech I designed but most importantly have faith in Gordon.

Unfortunately, I don't think your suit is designed with this sort of rescue in mind so it would be far too dangerous.

I think using a submarine pod should be safe. It's got a similar filtration system to Thunderbird 4. However, Gordon is right. You don't want Thunderbird 2 getting too close, so you'd have to deploy the pod from a safe distance.

Yes, that does sound like a good idea. Four's filtration system can very easily be scaled up to be installed on larger ships. I'll contact the GDF right away and see what they say.

We don’t actually have a cat at home - I wouldn’t mind one but it would cause havoc with the wildlife of Tracy Island, none of which has evolved to deal with a predator of that efficiency.

So hopefully @sandrafromlegal-ti won’t mind me sharing a couple of Cosmo from TI London - he is our resident pest control and therapy animal and is also making serious moves on a hostile takeover which would see him as CEO and me as rat-catcher. Some days I wouldn’t mind the switch to be honest.

Anyway here he is laying claim to my chair and looking so innocent and adorable so I couldn’t kick him out and had to perch on the desk for an entire conference call:

And the way I more usually see him… frankly I think he just brings them up to my office to intimidate me…

Well, I figured if all the boys are on here, it must be worth having a look at!

"Thinking about d-dinner already? How about we get you some breakfast first." Brains said with a chuckle. "I sent MAX on a mission to make us some pancakes."

He motioned to the small kitchenette he had in the corner of his lab. MAX was currently pouring ingredients into a mixing bowl, getting the measurements down to the exact gram. Brains had the kitchenette installed after he accidentally got into the habit of skipping lunch and sometimes dinner. He often got too caught up in his work, and when everyone else was busy on missions, there was often no one to remind him of the passing time. Except Mrs Tracy, of course, but her food left something to be desired.

"He may need s-some help flipping them." Brains continued. "He's gotten pretty good at cooking recently but still is yet to master that skill. Unless, of course, you don't mind pancakes that have b-been stuck on the ceiling."

Brains moves to stand next to John. "W-Well, we should probably start by creating a couple of different designs. It's good to consider all options a-available. We can convert those into 3D models and then show them to Kayo. Once we've g-gotten her opinion, we can look at finalising a design and figuring out all the small details." Brains tilts the screen that's closest to John towards the other man. "If you st-start by converting the design you already drew into a 3D model, I'll work on coming up with some p-possible alternative solutions." He continues motioning towards the screen.

"I can do that." John shoots him a warm smile and pulls up a chair. He never learned much 3D modeling in a professional capacity, but Virgil got a 3D printer for his tenth birthday, and their younger brothers were desperate for them to print little trinkets for them, so John's learning curve started young. Gordon used to have a whole row of PVC sea creatures on his bedroom windowsill.

John wonders what ever happened to them.

But I have so much work to do! Thunderbird Shadow upgrades, helping Gordon and Scott with Thunderbird 1, fixing the dent that's appeared in Thunderbird 3, and that's just the start of the list. I can't possibly take a break, at least not for that long!

Uhh yeah. That's a good point. I'll start running it under cold water. Although I think the burn is quite bad, soldering irons can get very hot.
