A co-worker of mine whom I just so happen to have shared a few memories with in my early childhood passed this book onto me a week or so ago, said as long as I didn’t get creeped out but a huge age gap “couple” than I should really enjoy it.Â
Funny to say those early childhood memories at the time weren't good ones, similar to the ones in this book, I’m sure my co-worker knew that. The doubt did cross my mind though... what if she didn’t?
The story is told from various points of views. Grandma, Amy, Kellen, Wavy, Dee, almost everyone who crossed paths with Wavonna.. the two who didnt own a chapter were Liam and Val... the two who brought the most trauma upon Wavy. Something interesting to me.Â
I flagged pages that stuck out to me, whether it be a word, a sentence, or a paragraph. Neon yellow & orange. How I pictured Wavy and Kellen lying out in the meadows.Â

Basement Book Worm
We can become so consumed in the material plane, living on autopilot we may forget to take a step back into our own and find peace and/or comfort in the expansion of our mind.Â
Reading does just that for me. It fulfills my need for exploration more than anything else, and I think some people would definitely agree with me.Â
I can become whole heartedly taken in by a good book. From spirituality/astrology, to a good romance novel. I truly adore self-help and mindset books, and will occasionally dive deep into greek mythology.Â
This will become a space where I share books Im currently reading or have read. I’ll share my thoughts, questions, and or concerns regarding different topics.
Not only will it help organize my thoughts but hopefully resonate with whomever is reading and find peace in a good story.
