Aizen's feeling of isolation due to being much more powerful than everyone makes sense to me when I look at how strong characters are treated in afterlife. Captains are basically celebrities admired especially by their lieutenants and squad mates, people closest to them. Espada are ardently idolized by their Fracciónes who literally fight each other for their leaders' favors. The attitude towards people stronger than oneself is subservient, even if full of love. Thus, relationships between spirits are defined through power. Aizen, as an immensely powerful spirit, is unable to see anyone as his equal because he has been equally conditioned to see relationships through this filter. He's merely a product of his society.

Meanwile, Ichigo, while having immense power, does not define his relationships through it. His strength is merely a tool to protect those who are already important to him. This is what sets them apart.
