there's so much on wednesday's mind, thoughts racing back and forth. even the idea of playing her usual games with her younger brother don't bring her any sense of meaning. ❛ i overheard something during the night. ❜ eyes dart towards her mother. ❛ are you really considering sending me away to that place? ❜

Concern showed on her pallid features, pupils widening with alarm. ❝ .... darling... what's troubling you? ❞ She had never seen Wednesday turn down the offer to electrocute her brother before. Ah, those games of theirs. Such diabolical geniuses, the pair of them.

she knew the moment that the knife's handle left her hand that she'd missed, though her expression fails to portray the disappointment she feels. she's stoic as ever, watching as her father pulls the weapon from the wall in order to bring it back over to her. ❛ i had a pleasant dream... it is rather disorientating. i much prefer my usual nightmares. ❜ still, she takes back the blade, waiting for her father to return position before she throws it once again. ❛ my aim will be better this time. ❜
