"I'm not interested in what you do for a living.
What I want to know is what's close to your heart.
If you dare to dream and fulfill your desires.
If you're ready to go crazy for love or for your dreams. For the adventure of being alive.
I want to know if you've touched the heart of your sadness.
If you've opened up to life's trials.
Or if you've dried up and shut down for fear of pain.
I want to know if you can experience your pain.
Or mine, without trying to hide it.
To diminish it or solve it.
I want to know if you can enter into joy, mine, or yours. If you can dance wildly.
And let ecstasy fill you to your fingertips.
Without setting human limits or thinking, you're being cautious or realistic.
I'm not interested in whether the story you're telling me is true.
What I want to know is whether you can deceive someone else in order to remain true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of being a traitor and not betray your own soul.
I want to know if you have enough faith to be trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even if it's not beautiful every day..."
