tbh the reason i ended up so princesscoded probs has smthing to do w the fact that not only did i have the mermaid rock growing up but This Garden was within walking distance of the mermaid rock and like. hello gorgeous? the inscription? the stone lions? the temple thingy? the layout? it's obv meant to be appreciated in summer when it's in bloom but like. maybe it's that i went the most in the offseason but the atmosphere of it when everything's dead is unmatched i used to like to pretend it was part of an evil curse tied to the inscription
