You turned, the space in the bed still empty. He wasn’t here. 'Was I being too harsh?' It was your first argument, and while you thought you handled it well, you couldn’t stop checking Yeonjun’s profiles from time to time. You were aware that his training finished an hour ago but wondered involuntarily why he hadn't returned. Yeonjun on the other hand, was at Soobin’s. He felt overwhelmed, hurt, but mostly regretful. He did not like being parted from you, even if it was due to training, but this hurt a whole lot more. “It's my fault.” He finally said. He had explained the whole thing to Soobin, who had been compassionately listening. Soobin shook his head. “There’s no victim here, nor is there a culprit. Don’t throw this at yourself, but make sure to not throw it at (Y/N) either, yeah?” He sighed, having a soft smile, trying his best to comfort Yeonjun. “How could I ever blame them. It’s never them.” Yeonjun rose from his seat, walking back and forth. “They’re too good for me...” He sighed. He loathed that he couldn’t be with you, caressing your cheeks, braiding your hair (or at least attempting to.) But mostly he hated himself for hurting you. “You never meant it, Jun. It was a misunderstanding.” The tall male rose from his seat, making his way to the window, pulling the curtains aside. “It’s getting late. They’re probably wondering where you are, you should go.” Yeonjun sighed and opened the dorm with a nod, making his way to his car. The guilt was engulfing his heart from the inside, and he couldn't focus on anything whilst he was driving. It was you, and you only. He ran up the stairs as soon as he opened the door to your apartment, only to find you sound asleep wearing his shirt. He exhaled, smiling softly, and kissed your forehead, before lying down. “I love you...” He had whispered sleepily.

It was all over social media. There would always be a post wherever you go.

“OMG YUNHO AND (Y/N) SO CUTE!!”

“I ship Yunho and (Y/N)!!”

(Y/N) stared at the posts, having a small smirk on their face, a shade of red spreading on their cheeks and nose. The fact people have realised the small glances and subtle flirting during award shows when they thought the cameras weren’t looking was insane. The butterflies in their stomach and the pounding of their heart made the situation worse.

Little did (Y/N) know, Yunho was thinking the same thing. Laying in his bed, staring at the screen. The amount of ship posts taking over Instagram, TikTok and Twitter was immaculate. He dramatically grabbed his chest, where his heart was. San stared at him, with confusion, but as soon as he saw the text on his phone, he chuckled.

“Someone has a little crush, I mean, everyone knows!” San mocked.

Yunho rolled his eyes at the remark, clutching his phone and scrolling through all the posts of them being flirtatious with eachother.

“If you like them, then why not ask them out? I mean, we have an award show tomorrow, they’ll probably be there.” Yunho sighed, nodding at his words. Slowly, he put down his phone, and tossed over, closing his eyes, trying to fall asleep. In reality, he was extremely joyous to be able to confess to who he thought was the love of his life.

“You’re the one.” He thought, because, it was true. They were the one.

The dark skies turned bright, no clouds that covered the beautiful sky. They were already at the Award Show building in early hours of the morning, to get ready. Yunho took a deep breath, he had a plan set in motion, and he had already told the boys about it.

He stared at (Y/N) while they were dancing, and singing. All he could think is how much they were the love of his life, and the ideal idol type. He was smiling like an idiot.

Then came his turn.

And it was his time to shine.

Yunho stepped up on stage, performing like normal, sending little winks, those winks being guided to (Y/N), which, they obviously noticed, covering their face with their hands. And little hearts. Subtle flirting which was so obvious to (Y/N) but not other idols, thankfully.

(Y/N) could only admire his talent, the way he danced, the way he sang. He was unbelievable.

Yunho snuck into (Y/N)’s group’s room to notice only (Y/N) there.

“Oh, uh, Yunho, Hi!”

Yunho smiled, coming towards (Y/N).

“I’m sure you’ve seen the posts by now, and maybe, we could make it true.” Yunho chuckled, having a faint red blush across his cheeks.

“A- uh, is this.. a confession?” (Y/N) looked dumbstruck.

“Of course it is, what else would it be?” The tall man replied back.

“Then.. Yes!” (Y/N) fell straight into his arms, smiling like an idiot.

“You’re the one.” Yunho mumbled.

“Was that meant to be a reference?” (Y/N) laughed, eyes filled with loves.

“Yes- no- maybe.”

They chuckled, enjoying the other person’s presence, knowing they were each others now.

I didn’t know what it was that made my heart feel like it was going to explode. It was something about him. The way he was always able to fit something for us amongst his insane schedule. I felt lucky to have a man like him. We were sitting amongst a park, underneath a tree that was taller than me doubled, I couldn’t lie, it was a perfect spot.

Sejun rested his palm on top of my hand, holding it while engraved in a conversation. He was talking to me, definitely, but I couldn’t figure out what he was saying since I could only think about how lucky I was to have him, and honestly, I was happy. I could live like this till I grew old. Maybe a family would be nice?

“Hey, I know you’re thinking about how handsome I am, but could you atleast pay attention just this once?” Sejun chuckled, kissing me on the hand.

“How- did you know?” I replied, confused. Could he read my mind?

“Because... you’re staring straight into my eyes? And you’re daydreaming? It’s pretty easy to tell.”

I laughed along with him, my eyes filled with love. I really wanted to kiss him right then and there. Well, I didn’t need too.

Without hesitation, I felt something soft on my lips, his lips. I rested my hand on his cheek and kissed him back. I felt like I was floating. He most likely had some sort of cherry lip balm. I wish I could save this taste forever. Sejun pulled away, still holding onto me. Clingy, but cute. As soon as he did though, he turned around and picked up a clover, it was a 4 leafed clover! Lucky, wasn’t it? My eyes widening. He found that so quick! I was stunned, and impressed.

“It reminds me of how lucky I am to have you.” Sejun stated.

“Well I’m more lucky to have you, I’d never trade you for anything.. Well unless it was for 2 of you.” I chuckled, hearing his voice along with me.

And I wouldn’t. I’d love him until we get old and we’re telling stories to our grandchildren, and I wouldn’t mind it at all.

The clock kept ticking, the sun no longer visible from the window, only the beautiful sparkles of stars lost in the night. It was a silent. Too silent. It created a ringing in my ears. It was hard. Not being able to sleep was the worst feeling I could imagine. I was tired, but not really. It was weird. The only enjoyable thing was the sleeping figure behind me, his puppy-like face fast asleep. I shuffled to turn him, trying not to wake him, but.. that unfortunately did not work out.

“(Y/N).. Are you still awake..?” A voice groaned out, the voice of my boyfriend.

“Can’t sleep..” I whispered in agony.

He pulled me closer, caressing my face. I felt loved, I wanted to marry this man. Out of the blue, an angelic voice singing to me was coaxing me to sleep, the voice of Kim Seungmin, my boyfriend.
