Polyester will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 17 via The Criterion Collection. It has been newly restored in 3K with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack.
The 1981 black comedy is written and directed by John Waters (Serial Mom, Pink Flamingos), who approved the new restoration. Divine stars alongside Tab Hunter, David Samson, Edith Massey, and Mink Stole.
Polyester will include an “Odorama” scratch-and-sniff card. A full list of extras can be found below.
