Anyway, you might be like, "Borrowlet? Why are you posting about Wall-E randomly right now?"

Um... I picked up a copy of Wall-E the videogame among others, and it might be one of the worst Wall-E related things relating to this film that I've found haha. It's so intense. Things explode at random. What. And no, it's uh, not the Asobo version, which is supposed to be a little better. I clipped out of bounds on the first level and sequence broke it, too.

Sometimes, I feel sad that Arrietty didn't have a tie in game. Then I remember games like this exist and I don't feel as bad.

Standing side by side with Arrietty, I think Wall-E is one of my favorite movies of all time. I am absolutely in love with it's silent first half.

I might delete this later based on how embarrassed I feel about it, but here's some very quick brainstorming sketches I did for "Arrietty-Themed Deltarune Dark World"

Common enemies. One based on the teacups in the kitchen, the other based on the marigolds in the flower field. The teacup one is Annoniemouse, second one I thought could be called "Maryold" (like marigold, but... Mary Old...). I drew these hastily so I could get the idea out, my apologies...

I think their spare conditions should be based on the parts of the film where these objects appear. You have to reassure Annoniemouse that they are a perfectly fine size, and contemplate the nature of existence over tea with Maryold...

Darkner old Arrietty named "Ms. Clock", incarnated from an alternate version of her book counterpart's diary. A lady of few words (to mirror how book Arrietty tried to save space in her diary.) A little rattled from years of running away, but still at heart a determined and kind person.

This isn't in the prophecy. So Kris, Susie, and Ralsei wouldn't be here. I was thinking this is Arrietty and Shō's Dark World adventure :) A swordsgirl and a knight with a tower shield... Determination and integrity :)

i asked my friend "why would i want these to crossover they're so different why do i find it amusing"

and they're like "it's like bringing your dolls from a different toyline into your barbie dreamhouse, it's fun"

so... yeah....

arrietty's song with the freedom motif (because, if you want to take a deltarune angle with her character, she keeps trying to attain freedom from her situation over and over again, but always ends up back at square one. she is doomed by fate. i am taking inspiration from her book variant with this. or, perhaps, she has freedom in the sense that she can keep freely challenging fate.)

45 hours of painting later and I now have completed the first in a series of seven (?) posters I intend to make for all seven (?) Deltarune chapters, starting with chapter 3!

Listening to the Arrietty OST and still being deep into Deltarune made me think of this fansong from back in the day. This feels like the midpoint between those two interests, for some reason...

I adored the small melodies Ralsei would sing during battles and I knew the second I heard them I had to arrange a theme based off of them so here it is!

I saw these in Japan. They were quite expensive, so I felt I could only choose one. I went with the Kiki one ultimately (toy Gigi in the wooden cage) as that's my second favorite Ghibli, but I did think the translucent plastic here was very nice looking.
