My mother, bless her innocent soul, made blue waffles this morning for my grandmother because that's her favorite color. It's also my grandmother's birthday, and that was all my mother was able to make. She was confused as to why I started chuckling when she told me she was giving my grandmother blue waffles.

Good. She can keep that innocence.
