TOTALLY forgot about this saiouma prompt but it’s been a while so.. saiouma prompt! except they’re alternate and at a music festival

kaede tried to drag shuichi out of his shell because he’s been really depressed lately and she decides to take him to a music festival. because some of her and his favorite bands are playing there:

he leaves her for a bit to buy some of their CRAZY overpriced drinks and merch. he plan to meet up with her at of the smaller (not a headliner) stages of one of her favorite bands.

it’s near the end of a rock bands set. people are walking away but there’s still an active mosh pit and people jumping, yelling and pushing.

he try’s to text her but the wi-fi is so shit all he can get out of her is that “i’m at the front!”. great.

he tries to make his way forward but people are pushing him back and not letting him through because.. well they’re to focused on the music.

anyway a guy bumps into him and woah, it’s a guy in full white face paint (juggalo makeup).

he askes what the hell shuichi is doing and he’s like “i’m trying to get to the front. friend is there waiting for the next set and i need to get to her..”

“oh! i’m going to the for that band to! i’ll take you with me if you want”

shuichi accepts because well, he needs help.

“hold my hand and don’t let go! no matter how much people push just push back okay? don’t let go”

WOAH hand holding? for this little vergin emo boy?(jokes). plus the boy is pretty cute so whatever.

he takes his hand and kokichi leads him to the front and helps him through the crowd. kokichi is smaller and it’s easier for him to make his way through the people moving.

they FINALLY make it after the band set ends and they’re waiting for the band they’re both there to see.

“do you see her?”

“oh uh.. no..”

they start talking and joking and shuichi is like

“yah my friend really likes this band i’ve never heard of it before it’s like (insert whatever smaller band u want. i’ll just say) dog park dissidents”

“huh? this is ICP?”

“what..?”

“what stage where you supposed to be at?”

“uh, the yellow one?”

“this is the red stage.”

“oh..”

and yes it has to be an ICP concert. 1) kokichi would LOVE ICP and 2) it’s definitely an experience. especially for a boy who’s never been to a show EVER. for context. clowns throw (diet) faygo (soda) the WHOLE time out of buckets, water guns, and ofc ICP shakes the bottles and throws them into the crowd. it’s fucking AWSOME.

but a crazy ‘band’ to pop your first concert cherry.

shuichi ends up standing behind him with his hands on either side of the boy, holding onto the railing so the guy doesn’t get pushed to much.

they end up leaving the stage and shuichi ended up having a really good time. even tho he was soaked in diet soda, his makeup was runny and his hair was wet he had a great fucking time. they start talking and walking around and kokichi finds miu and taro and shuichi finds kaede. she laughs at him because he’s soaked in soda but he seems more lose so she’s happy. ending is up to you or whatever! anyway yah you should go to a music festival once in your life!

Our home security system is being updated today, and the guy in charge is just peak Gen Z, no professional fucks given vibe and it’s hysterical.

🎲 okay i just had the funny thought of Kokichi making his demon faces and Shuichi thinks he's flirting with him now HELP, it's so funny to think about, Kokichi keeps making creepier and demented faces to try and get a reaction out of him.

he did not expect the reaction to be a kiss on his nose and a pat on his head with a, "i see you, i see you, don't go making those last few faces around the others okay?"

oooo!! horrors beyond imagination seeing creepy faces as cute/flirts is such a smart idea. i'm sure Shuichi left Kokichi standing there dazed, confused, and i little flustered that day

when your parents or other older relatives ask you why you don't have a significant other or are married yet.

when you're holding hands with another person and everyone suddenly assumes that you are a couple.

when people don't respect your decision to stay single because "everyone needs a romantic partner or they'll die alone."

when people assume you're flirting when you're just being kind.

when your friends greatly reduce their time spent with you just because they have a partner now.

when people tell you they doubt you're "just friends" with another person just because you display what they think are signs of romance (that may be more of an aro experience but i'm sure it can happen with anyone).

i know these scenarios are more complex and nuanced than what this post is mentioning but that doesn't mean amatonormativity doesn't contribute to them.

Due to the serious underpayment the voice actors of Miraculous Ladybug are getting (despite the high popularity of the show), Joe Ochman, the English VA of Mayor Bourgeois has left the show and will be replaced in Season 5. On top of that, the reason SAMG will be no longer animating Miraculous episodes also has to due with being underfunded. SAMG is known in the fandom for animated some of the best episodes in terms of animation like Crocoduel and Strike Back. Mind you, if they can afford to make The Awakening Movie with a budget over 100 million dollars, then they can afford to give their employees a fair pay.
