From what I've heard among us reminds me of the game I was excluded from at a party when I'd been awake for for 21 hours straight and my ex and his bestie made me feel like a bad guy for being tired and really wanting to go home (it was 1am and we were supposed to leave at 10pm) (oh and then me and my ex stayed awake for at least another hour after we finally got home at like 1 30)

Exciting news! Love island the game season 3 released today! Well, 2 days of it, out of 13, but I wanted to put my feelings about the game out there real quick

First of all, I didn't think I'd like this but the MC can't get with 2 of the guys from the beginning. One of them I'd seen in a teaser, he was the most femme looking guy and therefore the most aesthetically attractive to me, so I was a little disappointed he couldn't be a LI AT FIRST. Now I honestly really like the realism it adds to the game. Not everyone is going to be attracted to everyone, and not everyone will be attracted to the MC. These 2 guys are off limits because they aren't her type, full stop, and I respect that.

Somewhat similar, I love that we more or less get to choose a BFF. I have a feeling this will add to the replayability and is different from the other seasons.

Another thing? AJ is NOTHING like Marisol and it's REFRESHING. In this game in every season there is at least one playable love interest that is bi. In season one, Talia was super easy to flirt with and couple with toward the end. In season 2 there are more options (Marisol and Elisa, and if you pay gems you can have moments with Hannah or Lottie) but Marisol's storyline was very strict. You had to be a certain way for anything to happen with her, and it took 3 playthroughs to finally get it right. Immediately, AJ is an option as soon as you say you're into girls. This leads into 2 more things:

This season is hecka short, which makes sense why they won't waste time with AJ this season. It's only 13 days, whereas I'm pretty sure season 2 was 20-30 days. Season 1 was shorter but there was like 5 episodes in a single day. I'm kind of worried it'll pass by too fast and not be as replayable as season 2.

The other thing: Do I immediately couple with AJ? Is that possible? I'm certain the first recoupling will be boys choice, so I'm hoping to be coupled with Camilo. He seems like a sweetheart. I know it's only day 2 in the villa but I already feel like there are 2 people here I can finish the game with, and I don't know who to choose. In season 2 I more or less hated everyone the first playthrough until I met Carl in casa amor. So this is a huge change of pace.

I have had technical issues where my gems disappeared, but id be okay to not get them back because it doesn't seem like there's a need to buy outfits. In the first 2 seasons the MC would be ROASTED for having a basic outfit, but this season has been so kind. And honestly there isn't much to choose from. I really love the basic PJs. The only complaint I have is the daytime outfit, I think the bottom half looks ridiculous, but when playing you only see the waist up. So win win.
