Miles lives in a big house with a lot of empty rooms. He doesn't get any visitors. Maybe on the rare occasion the von Karmas before Manfred's arrest. There's only so much he does at home - sleep, watch his shows, maybe read a little. He doesn't even eat at home most days.

Then Phoenix and Trucy move in. Trucy takes one of the bedrooms and Phoenix has taken to gardening. The house becomes more lively, as the Wrights love to celebrate holidays. The rooms fill up, become a little more colorful, comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with food, the entertainment room television is on until late at night. Miles takes less overtime because he wants to get home in time for dinner. Because Trucy has homework she needs help with. Because he promised to watch a movie with Phoenix. Because his dog misses him.

He cooks sometimes, but mostly bakes. He helped Phoenix build a new bed for Trucy. He set aside a room so Phoenix could have an art studio. He loves spending time in the yard where Pess can run around and play.

Miles looks back on the years where his house only had just himself. Then he looks at the wall by the stairs, full of pictures of him, his friends, and family. All he can do is smile.
