I've missed reading so much while I've been at college! I'm very excited to get back into it 😊

I'm back!!

Bit of deja vu here 😂.

But this studyblr thing is very hard to keep on top of! But I'm finished 2nd year and got my exam results! This b*#ch is going into third year!!

I feel like this is when I really have to crack down on working! Even though I get good grades I could be working so much harder. This half of my degree is going to be the tougher one so it's time to start working my ass off!

My plan is to work hard to get on top of things before I go back in September because the year starts off with technical interviews for work placement and I wanna own them!!

This summer's goal is to brush up on more advanced programming data structures and algorithms in c++ and c# but to also learn java and start teaching myself some app development! I want to get over my imposter syndrome and embrace the fact that I love what I do and I'm not bad at it either!

Right now it's 97 days till third year starts, time to get cracking ^_^

I love coming up to Dublin to hang with the fam! I've spent most of my time dog sitting this little bean and I'm never gonna complain about that! Also dyed my hair back all one colour for the first time in two years, it's so dead lol 🎉

AHHH I'm going to Google today!!

01/11/2018 :: I still felt a bit ill today but managed to get through five contact hours and do a bit of extra work this afternoon. Tomorrow I should be feeling better and be more productive 💪

Loving these autumn vibes. I can’t believe it’s already November and my favourite month is already over. 

I’m up in Dublin now having a great time with my cousin as usual! I feel like I need another reading week to catch up, they’re really throwing the work at us now and it’s not okay lol.

Google tomorrow AHH!! I’m so excited but also super nervous because I have to go on my own and don't know anyone there! But I am looking forward to the goody bag haha :D

Two days in a row WooHoo!!! I’m off to Dublin today for my Google visit on Friday so I have a lot to do.

Here’s a continuation of my Data Design and Programming Notes, I’m finally caught up! Now time to move on to my Networking notes. I only have 6 weeks until my exams and I have a lot of assignments due before that so time to finally get my head down and do my work. This course is so important to me and I need to work harder :)

I have to read Louis Wolfsons ‘Le Schizo et les langues’, which is really difficult considering the little amount of French I know. I have so much work for uni lately, this will be a really hard and stressy semester. I’ll try to post here now and then when I remember but I won’t make any promises!�� Instagram

Man, I’m bad at this lol. Anyway got two practicals due next week done today and some Normalisation notes pictured above.

Even though it’s reading week I’ve been under pressure to get a lot of work done as I’m off to Dublin tomorrow with the fam until Saturday. I’m heading to Google’s headquarters on Friday for their Open House Tech Day and I’m so excited!!! 

I really need to get back on track with this blog haha :)

this past week has been great! it has consisted of lovely autumn weather, delicious food and great company. next week i only need to be at uni once so i have plenty of time to enjoy my favourite season🍂

things i’ve done:

wrote the last essay of this period

studied a bit every morning on the bus

skipped an early morning lecture and regretted it immediately when i checked the powerpoint, it has nearly 80 slides??

did a bit of yoga for beginners and literally died

studied with some new aquaintences and friends

laughed way too much on the bus

taken tons and tons of notes until my hand has been cramping

today i’m still going to eat cake and probably just take it easy with some youtube videos or netflix! what are you all going to do tonight? any fun plans?

I’m back!!! It’s been about two weeks since my last post. College got real super quick so I’ve swamped with work and I’ve had the flu.

But I’m back and ready to start posting again and get back on top of things! Life must go on and I really want to do well this year so it’s time to crack down.

My favourite place in this whole college is the library, I could spend all day every day here coding or writing notes. Right now I'm stressing about an exam on recursion tomorrow yay.
