Turns out the grow light I use with my succulents emits enough infrared light that I can get good infrared shots of my plants in the dead of night. Please enjoy these gentle aliens.

CAMPGROUND BATHROOM KITTENS (also feat. a charming dog named Smalls)

While camping a few weeks ago a couple of us walked out to the one bathroom near our campsite that had running water, and there we found two girls bottle-feeding three-week-old kittens in the entryway. It was incredibly surreal! They were lovely people, very patient, and we chatted a bit about their history with rescuing animals and one girl’s possible plans to study to be a veterinarian.

They also introduced us to Smalls, a very placid dog who spent the duration of our visit resting in one of the sinks.

I wanted to do an art summary for 2016, but it turns out I haven’t drawn enough outside of the webcomic for it to be at all interesting. What I did do this year, though, is take a whole lot of photos. So I did a photo summary instead!
