just saw someone on twitter say they “love c!tommy as a character” but also simultaneously “hate how tommyinnit isn’t like his 2020 self anymore and makes dark jokes all the time” and mf i hate to tell you but those particular takes do NOT go together because why are you shitting on a real life person for being changed by the vast amounts of trauma he sustained at a young age and then claim you love and get c!tommy…. like do you understand this character at all??

It's very funny to me when people say I draw fast on my art of video/stream events. Like it's true, but the time frame I have to assume they assume based on the video and my post and the fact they aren't watching me in real life to know when I watched the video usually is like, 5 hours, and the picture in question is like a 20 minute doodle.

I slipped and made another AU. Pirate Tango/Prince Jimmy.

Prince Jimmy's city has gotten into hot water, so he needs to go across the sea to get help from his half-sister Queen Lizzie, and hires a crew of corsairs to stow him away as quietly as possible. Tango's their shipwright who gets assigned to babysit the prince. He did not account for the prince being a bit of a pirate fanboy.

Jimmy's a (half-)mer, so he can breathe under water and a strong swimmer but doesn't have any fins or anything. He's the illegitimate child sent off to deal with a failing city to make him disappear who took his job seriously instead of just waiting for their enemy to annex them. He read a lot of romantic books about pirates and swashbuckling and all that fun stuff as a child.

Tango's got ancestors from the Nether, enough he can't swim, is a bit on the warm side, and people can identify it, but not enough to have any of their cool fire magic (maybe). He has more money and friends as a pirate than he did as a legitimate shipwright. So here he is, patching holes and dangling from ropes aboard The Relation while trying not to die cause he barely knows how to fight.

Anyways I probably won't end up doing anything with this but it's fun to think about.

i do need SOMEONE to steal qsmp's concept of having a bunch of admins to guide an overarching smp storyline bc i want to see it be successful so badly. id take a qsmp 2.0 in this style, if theyve learned from their mistakes and changed for the better. i just need something that really gives that spirit of improv roleplay, while also having occasional help from a DM-esque role to really pull things together when it needs it
