The Chocolate Hills is a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. It is featured as the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attraction in the province. It is in the Philippine Tourism Authority’s list of tourist destinations in the Philippines; it has been declared the country’s 3rd National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines. It is composed of around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills of about the same size, spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi). The main viewing point of the Chocolate Hills is the government-owned Chocolate Hills Complex in Carmen, Bohol, about 55 km (34 miles) from the regional capital Tagbilaran.

Among all the destinations we've visited, the Chocolate Hill Adventure Park is my second favorite destination. Why? Prior to the top of the hill where you'd able to see the stunning Chocolate Hills, you'd encounter and experience the longest steps in Bohol. It is truly tiring, but once you'll got to the top you don't just experience satisfaction from accomplishing the challenge, but the view of the Chocolate Hills itself is truly amazing.

The most beautiful part of the Baclayon church for us is the Altar. Everyone was amazed the moment they saw the platform of the Baclayon Church. It has three lavishly, and intricately decorated altars and Apart from the silver tabernacle, the main altar has six (6) religious images: St. Joseph on the topmost; Holy Trinity, St. Gabriel, and St Michael, Immaculate Conception, St Joachim and St Anne. The Altar on the left side is housing the century-old images of St Lucy on the uppermost and St Blaise and St Anthony of Padua. The right side altar is housing the century-old images of Our Lady of Consolation, St. Monica, St Augustine and St Nicholas de Tolentino.

Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary Parish popularly known as the Baclayon Church. Before we went inside the church, we gathered every student in our class to take a picture. During the photoshoot some hilarious moments happened, as we were taking the class pictures some students who were away and unaware quickly ran towards us to be part of it which collided with other students. Although it caused a domino effect, no one got hurt and everything was fine.  As we explore the church, we’ve seen that the some portions of the exterior wall of the building is still broken and unfixed. The scars of the building from the 2013 Bohol 7.2 earthquake is still visible. You can also see the stunning massive bell tower that heights 69 feet from the ground, this part of the building is heavily damaged during the earthquake. When we got inside the building the amazing paintings on the ceiling stunned everyone, there were various paintings and each one them showcases the stories mentioned in the bible. The massive wall of the church is made of coral stones giving the building an impression of its age. The flooring of the church is made of brick tiles, it is said that it is the replacement of original flooring which is hardwood.

Tarsier by Eddie 11uisma Via Flickr: @ Bohol, Philippines The Philippine Tarsier is one of the smallest primates in the world and is considered to be the mammal with the biggest eyes. Their diet consists of insects in the main. Their height is between 90 to 160 mm (3.5 to 6.25 inches). Their weight is between 70 to 165 grams (3-6 ozs). The big eyes give them very acute night vision and make them good night hunters. The big ears can move in the direction of any noise and the heads can swivel through 180 degrees.
