After months of writing and recording narration, I’m proud to officially announce the start of production on KAIJUOLOGY: THE HISTORY OF A GENRE, a feature-length documentary detailing the complete story of one of the biggest genres (literally!) in pop culture history!

As of now, I have a tentative runtime for the doc at around 2 hours, which is around how much narration I have recorded. No release date yet, but I’m hoping to get it out sometime by the end of the year!

The next Toho Godzilla film finally has a title, and it's coming to U.S. theaters at warp speed—less than a month after it releases in Japan! The Forbes article that broke the news says that according to Toho International President Koji Ueda, Godzilla Minus One is in continuity with Shin Godzilla, but I'm wondering if that was a miscommunication; it'd be hard to pull off, to put it mildly.

I had the pleasure of attending the second half of the Mahoning Drive-In's Godzilla-Palooza Raids Again earlier this month—King Kong vs. Godzilla, Rodan, and GMK on Saturday, Destroy All Monsters on Sunday. We got rained on both nights, but it was still a magical time, thanks in no small part to a giant Godzilla statue, complete with lights and sound, that two brothers put together for the event. That's me and @kyodaikino at its feet.
