art update woooo

since ive been gone i've only done three full rendered pieces: a big commission from reddit in July, an art contest submission for a streamer's charity stream (that won third place! i was very proud), and a self insert comic from when i got really into stardew valley for a while lol

aside from that, i found a few sketches of RDR2 arthur morgan and corvo attano from dishonored since i played both the past couple of months

and some sketches of the twitch streamers i've been watching lately

and that's pretty much it, i'll give these their own posts in a few but i'm so ready to get back into drawing regularly again,, i need to get a new hyperinterest STAT and i am TAKING RECS. PLEASE

to make a long story short: i found IRL friends who like me for who i am for the first time in a few years. it made me not as dependent on online communities for social interaction and validation, and at the same time i got really busy with school, so i ended up in a long unplanned hiatus for the last nine months oops. but i have missed you all terribly in the meantime

i'm happy to say i'm doing a lot better than i was a year ago. tumblr and twitter haven't been taking up so much space in my head like they used to, and i don't feel like i need the social media validation in the form of likes the way i once did

i'm in a much healthier place than i used to be with the internet and posting on it, so i think i'm ready to come back. my interests have shifted a lot in the past year, but i'm still drawing and writing!

moving forward, i'm probably not going to be posting about genshin or any other mihoyo games very often, as i've found other things that have been taking up headspace recently that i'm excited about. i know that's not what most of you followed me for, so i totally get if this isn't the blog for you anymore! no hard feelings. regardless, though, i'm excited to start sharing my stuff with you guys again :)

- graduated college wow! chemistry degrees hate to see me comin

- applied to grad schools. none of them have let me in yet :/ im too cool for them ig

- found out postgrad jobs are hard to get, yikes

- got really into twitch streamers kinda? played a lot of rdr2 as well. arthur my beloved.

- took an art class that was really fun but SAPPED my ability to draw ANYTHING that was not for class holy shit. i did not draw anything but assignments for MONTHS

- got my heart broken. no we were not dating and no he didn't even like me like that and no he wasn't even that cute. yes i'm embarassed shut up

- reconnected with my church and my christian friends, something that was a long time coming and has changed me for the better

I stumbled on it when looking through the latest posts under the Diluc tag, with the account having posted the day 11/12 art around the exact same time, and couldn't find anything on your blog mentioning it as being an alt account.
