Taesoo had always wondered how Hanmin came about being a dad but he knew learning all that would be taking them closer to a place he didn’t want to be. So his lips remained sealed and he just went on not thinking about it much again. If there was ever a chance that Taesoo would get attached to Hanmin he’d probably beat himself up about it. He didn’t really like relationships and enjoyed his freedom immensely. Relationships never ended well for him and it was usually him doing the heartbreaking. That was one of the things he enjoyed about Hanmin, He didn’t want anything other than sex and knew when it was time to leave. Taesoo wasn’t really subtle about when he wanted space though either but that’s besides the point. “Aren’t you just a peach.” He smiled, which was rare for him and pinched the other’s cheek gently.
Their kiss was nice but it always was because there was just something so enjoyable about Hanmin’s plump bottom lip. “Well I don’t want to have you come all the way here and then my room looks like a trash dump. I am somewhat considerate.” He teased  and then scrunched his nose at Hanmin’s next words. “Aish, Adorable? I’m not adorable.” He pouted. Taesoo perked up when the other was above him and instantly started to run his slightly chilly hands up under the other’s shirt. “Mm, well what do you want me to do for you tonight, oppa?” He asked looking up innocently through his lashes. Obviously he was supposed to say Hyung but Oppa was just so much more fun for him to call someone he slept with. Maybe he just liked it because it wasn’t what he was supposed to say.

Bang Hanmin had never really thought of having children. Since he was gay he knew that it couldn’t happen. His family were aware of his sexuality and they tried to get him to change but he never did. He’s known since he was a little kid that he liked men. He never tried to hide it. He wasn’t sure what happened the night that Hanmin slept with her. He knew he wasn’t in his right mind. Perhaps something deep inside him was curious about sex with the opposite sex. It obviously didn’t work in changing him. It only gave him the best thing in the world - his son.
Taesoo had the kind of presence that drew you in and it scared Hanmin. He told himself he’d never fall in love again. Whenever things got too personal he would always leave. He never engaged in sex with people he thought would become attached due to his fear. It was why he always left after the sex. If he stayed he feared what would happen. He smiled. “I don’t need to smell myself. I always use the same thing when visiting you. Knowing that it smells good to you is enough for me.” Taesoo closed the distance between their lips and the father happily kissed back. Every person Hanmin had on call kissed differently. He chuckled as he allowed the other to pull him. “Lucky me. But you know you don’t need to.” Hanmin looked around the room and chuckled. “Your room is always adorable. Just like you.” He winked as he made his way over to Taesoo. He pushed the other down as he landed on top. “That’s sweet but I can’t have all the fun.”

It was extremely lucky, and made Taesoo rather happy, that his boss was cool and fun to be around. He had plenty of jobs where he dreaded going simply because the boss was terrible and ruined his days. There were a billion things that Taesoo would rather be doing than work so when the boss was a hard ass he just couldn’t take it. It wasn’t like that at the Book Nook because he actually enjoyed being there which was a first for the boy.
Taesoo was currently leaning against the counter with a few books before him that he was scanning into the system and he was listening to the advice of his boss. A smile curled up the corners of his lips and he shook his head. “I suppose not but looking good makes you feel good, right? But you’re right, stressing over the outfit isn’t priority number one. Wear what you know you look good in and you will look good.” He finally nodded and thought a moment. “You do and so do I but don’t freak out. You dress just fine. So when you go on a date just wear what you normally wear.”  He shrugged scanning a book or two more. “But I wouldn’t bother with clothes either.” Taesoo winked and snickered to himself while busying himself with the books.
A very serious topic.
— With @bnlimtaesoo
“I’m serious dongsaeng, I think you shouldn’t even bother with clothes.” Wise advice session time. Tuesdays were usually slow at the Book Nook and that means Zhao has the opportunity to go around checking on everybody’s work, getting some things done, calling some publishing company, dealing with paperwork and whatnot.
But it also meant he has time to chat with his coworkers a little. Zhao has had some terrible unbearable bosses in his life and he was not gonna be one of those hated supervisors. It was just so nice that every worker at the Book Nook respected that thin line between being your boss and your friend - that line burred a little sometimes, but Zhao still demands good work and appropriate behavior.
Right now they were talking about dating. Something Zhao himself never done (yes he’s never been on a date), so he technically had no propriety to give advice on that matter but, oh well. “If the person really likes you and makes you laugh it doesn’t matter what you are wearing, right?” That sounded a bit hypocritical coming from him, so Zhao quickly added. “I mean, i would freak out about what I’m wearing but that’s just me. I really like to dress up! Haha.”

Children weren’t Taesoo’s favorite thing and he usually avoided them when he could but Hanmin’s kid was cool and the short amount of time he spent with him had been pleasant. Taesoo didn’t know if he’d ever want kids. At the moment he was having a hard enough time taking care of himself but he had a feeling he’d feel different about kids if they were his, by blood or not. For now though he’d enjoy the company of Zuhwi when he was around and that would be good enough for him.
The minute Taesoo saw Hanmin it was also instant. He knew he needed to talk to or kiss or something with him. Hanmin drew him in and it was scary which was why he only allowed them to indulge in sex and nothing else. If Taesoo didn’t know anything about Hanmin beside basic things then he couldn’t fall in love with him. “Mhm, excuses.” Taesoo teased and he raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t even know you smelled good so how can it be for me?” He laughed and nodded. “Thanks babe.” He said as he leaned in to kiss Hanmin before quickly taking his hand and leading him toward his room. “You should feel lucky because I straightened up my room. “ He said with a smile and opened the door to a fairy light lit room and pink bedding with random character pillows. He moved over and pushed them to the floor before sitting on the bed. “Do with me what you please.” Taesoo smirked looking up at Hanmin, slyly.
Tumblr media
Baggage was something that Bang Hanmin had a lot of. For starters, he was a single father to a four year old son. Who really wants to start something with someone that has their own child? A few times he’s been close to having something but then they find out about Zuhwi and it was like they couldn’t run away faster. Perhaps that’s why he likes what he has with Taesoo. Taesoo got along well with his son and didn’t seem to mind that amount of time they met up at his house.
Hanmin was instantly attracted to Taesoo. He was exactly Hanmin’s type. He was attractive and seemed to want the exact same thing he did. The male heard noise coming from behind the door and he stood up straight. The door opened and that face he loved so much appeared. He allowed the other to pull him inside. He smiled. “Sorry. Had to avoid traffic.” He chuckled. “I smell good? It’s all for you.” He smirked. “Looking good as always.”

Seojin’s cooking was the only thing keeping him with a full stomach these past few days. At the beginning he could barely eat it but he wanted to encourage her so he swallowed the food with a smile. Then through practice she got better and he would happily come home from wherever to eat dinner with everyone. Between his jobs, Taesoo barely had time to breath let alone cook himself something to eat. It was one of the main reasons he was so grateful to have a housemate like Seojin.
Seojin was fun to be around and he was glad to spend as much time as they did together. Work at Amber was bearable when they could joke around together. It made time go faster and he was happy for that. They did spend a lot of time together but it was more than fine with him. He thought of them as best friends for sure. So when his phone lit up and vibrated under the desk he smiled seeing who it was.
[to: Queen Seojin] Omg you are a life saver. I forgot to pack a lunch today.
[to: Queen Seojin] Yeah it’s now. Seriously thanks so much!
Taesoo’s mood instantly lifts and he’s happy for his little vitamin of a friend. Hopefully he could get her to stick around a little so that she can keep him awake long enough to actually do his job. His posture got better and he went around to the windows to open the curtains up more and let some light into the book store.
Tumblr media
Okay so the past few days, Seojin has been trying her hand at cooking and she has gone from totally shit at it to finally making edible food. Her noise and trials in the kitchen isn’t a secret to her housemates at all. Sometimes she’d even text all of them to say that they have to come home for dinner because she cooked. She doesn’t know if her housemates look forward to that but most of the time, they end up ordering pizza collectively.
Today, she has made a pretty decent bibimbap– with the lessons from her older girl friends and the tutorials she watched on Youtube helping a lot. The thing is, she made too much for her to enjoy and putting this in the fridge would lose its appeal. No one likes cold food or microwaved food for that matter. Plus her cooking is pretty decent so she wants to show it off and get that validation from friends. She would share this with her housemates but they’re all out and oh– that’s when she realizes the perfect person.
Taesoo. The one that had been keeping up with being around her the most. It’s a bit unbelievable how they live under the same roof and work the same hours in Amber so he has no choice but to be around her. She thinks he doesn’t mind though and she really thinks he is one of her best friends with the amount of time they’ve spent together.
So she texts him, naturally.
[to: housemate taesoo❤️] r u at work?? [to: housemate taesoo❤️] i made ACTUAL edible food [to: housemate taesoo❤️] it’s ur break now isn’t it??? i’m bringing u lunch!!!
She isn’t exactly sure if the boy has packed his lunch but she remembers seeing him rushing out for work earlier as she was cleaning around the living room. But whatever, before she even gets a reply, she started packing the food in small plastic containers and even puts them in a small bag  as if she has prepared for the day she’ll be able to cook properly all her life.

Taesoo barely had enough time to fix up his room before there was a knock at the sharehouse door. He always got an excited little butterfly feelings in his stomach whenever Hanmin came over or he went over to Hanmin’s but he was extremely good and concealing his feelings and not letting them appear on his face. Hanmin knew how to make him feel good and there was just something about his face that drove Taesoo crazy. He was gorgeous and Taesoo got to have all of him without having all the side baggage and emotions.
No one had said anything yet but he always wondered if maybe they got a little too loud. Since he did share a house with others he wanted to make sure he didn’t disrupt anyone else. That was easier said than done when it came to them though. He glided to the door and opened it with a little smirk. “Took you long enough.” He said in a joking tone as he reached for the other’s hand to pull him inside. “You smell good.” Taesoo commented looking the other up and down.
Tumblr media
Bang Hanmin was a man. He was a father, but a man nonetheless - and men had desires. Unfortunately for the father, he had a lot of them. Hanmin sought the company of many a men when he felt the urge. There were some that he sought more than others - Taesoo was one of them. Taesoo was the perfect embodiment of his ideal man and it scared Hanmin. Thankfully, both men knew what it was between them. They both didn’t need something with feelings. Hanmin had a fear of love and commitment and he was glad Taesoo didn’t want that.
Zuhwi was staying over at a sleepover with one of his daycare friends tonight and so Hanmin was alone. He had been lying in bed playing a game on his phone when a message popped up. He didn’t need to read who the sender was to know where he was going. He knew of only one person who could message him this late. Without hesitation, Hanmin was up and out the door. He arrived at Taesoo’s within ten minutes. He knocked on the door.

“I...I live here.” Taesoo tossed his ice cream and moved over to Minhyuk, looking down at the tray in his hand he raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing here...I-.” He stopped himself because he was about to spew a million questions that were running through his head. He had been so upset when Minhyuk just vanished from his life because he had been rather close to him before. It had hurt his feelings immensely but also worried him a lot as well because there was no notice or explanation. One day they were laughing at a dumb t.v. show while pigging out on snacks and then the next, there was no answer at the other end of the phone.
After collecting himself a little, Taesoo looked the other in the eye and raised his eyebrow. “Why’d did you leave so suddenly?” He asked but rubbed the back of his neck. He noticed that the other was probably busy at the moment  but he was afraid that if he let Minhyuk go then he wouldn’t get the chance to see him again. All Taesoo wanted was some answers and then if Minhyuk didn’t want Taesoo around anymore he could go his way and they could move on from their friendship.
Tumblr media
sometimes, minhyuk still has trouble coming to terms with the fact that he had ran away from seoul so easily without thinking about the people he would leave behind. was it just a little selfish? perhaps, but it was for his own good after all and it had proved well in the after run. however, he can’t help those late nights feeling guilty for one or two people he would miss and hadn’t received the opportunity to say goodbye to. even though he was regretful; he hadn’t actually expected to reconcile with one of the people he regretted leaving behind.
eyes widen in shock as he hearts the familiar voice behind him, and he has to clutch his tray before it drops to the wooden floor ungracefully. of course, his past chooses that exact moment, when he’s in the middle of his afternoon shift to catch up to him like that. “taesoo,” he deadpans, surprise dripping off his tone.. “what.. what are you doing here?”

Work...that’s all Tae Soo seemed to be doing these days and nights. At the moment he was at his day job, the book nook, with his chin propped in his hand and a book held in the other. You’d think he’d be tired of books after being around them all the time but new books came in every day and he really enjoyed taking them all in. He didn’t quite realize how difficult it could be to stay afloat on his own but he was managing. Even if he might be going hungry a lot of the time. Tae Soo was lucky to have the jobs he did and he wasn’t going to mess it up.
This job had taught Tae Soo a lot about sitting still, something he had never been good at. He had to sit behind the counter and look pretty, answer questions about the stock or where to find books. It was all rather boring stuff but he was thriving. He needed a little structure in his life and his jobs gave him that. He had to be on time to something almost every day and that was a difficult thing for him but he did it. Tae Soo was going to prove to his parents that he didn’t need them and that they had made a huge mistake when they turned their back on him.
It was getting to be around time for his lunch break and his stomach was starting to growl. Unfortunately he hadn’t been able to pack a lunch today so he’d have to go without until dinner. He decided just to focus even more on the book he was ready and it was sort of helping.

@bnhanmin
Work had really stressed Tae Soo out tonight and he just needed to take his mind off of things for a little bit. There was only one person who could come do that for him and he was laying in his bed looking at his phone debating. Hot boys were something that Tae Soo could not resist and he was glad that he had the number of an extremely hot boy in his phone but he always hesitated before sending him a message. There was always a chance that this could go from strictly benefits to just a little more and Tae Soo did not want to catch feelings for Hanmin.
Tonight there was no chance of catching feelings because he was not in the mood and just wanted to get off. He clicked the little picture of Hanmin and smirked at their conversations. ‘Come over.’ ‘Be over in a minute.’ Strictly business and he was glad it stayed that way. So he tapped out a quick message and waited for a reply. The light of the phone being the only light in the room, the words, “Can you be here in the next ten?” Stood out starkly on the screen.

Taesoo was so very glad that he had decided to move to Busan. He had to have to jobs to survive but it was good, he was busy and alright. Today he was off from his job at the book store and was enjoying some sunshine. It was rare that he got to be out during the day because he was either working or sleeping. He was probably a little paler than usual these days due to always being cooped up inside, so today was a good day to get a little color.
He’d went and shopped a little and was sitting outside of an ice cream shop enjoying his own cone of chocolate ice cream. He wasn’t expecting to run into anyone he knew today so when he looked up and seen a familiar face he thought he was seeing things. This person had been one of his best friends back home and then he just vanished so seeing him now was a huge surprise. “Minhyuk?” He called standing up.
