I made this account because I really wanted to be there for myself and other women whom wish to express their feminine energy throughout their wardrobe without feeling so confined to one particular style. If I had to give you one type of style that represents me, I would probably say bohemian chic. But I don’t really want to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You see, I don’t think my style is limited to one particular genre. I love a great bohemian dress with a cute and simple pair of sandals, but I could never just stop there. When I wanna dress a look down to make it a bit more laid back or streetwear inspired, that’s what I’m going to do. If I want to take a dress or top and make it a bit more glamorous than the average “boho” would, that’s what I’m going to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to have fear towards expressing myself this way because I never wanted to get called out on not being a “true bohemian.” I’ve also always been told that I must fit myself into one “speciality.” But when has fashion ever been about one special way of doing things?... Uh, never! Fashion is about taking risks. And the results of a risk could be one person saying something good about it while another might say something bad about it. But it’s not even about who likes it and who doesn’t. Not everyone is supposed agree with your creation. It’s really just about developing a conversation about it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And I want to start a conversation. A conversation for those that love flowers and vintage wear but also love rhinestones and street wear. For those that love flowy dresses and kick-ass heels but also love laid back denim and sneakers. And for those who love all neutral-colored and coordinated outfits, but also love a bomb-ass, random pop of color on a faux fur jacket. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We aren’t all one-dimensional. We aren’t labeled to just one way of doing things. And it should be the same way for fashion. Maybe we have one distinctive style as a base, but let’s take that style, fuck it up and make it ours. #makeityours loves.
