dragon aizawa!
i have an au to go along with this that i will (probably) post at a later date once i flesh it out a bit more, until then have a 'zawa dragon I made in Flight Rising!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
body: guardian, plague multi-gaze, obsidian jaguar/obsidian noxtide/dust contour
clothing: white aviator scarf, black renaissance shirt, black breeches, obsidian leg enhancement (back), black linen wing wraps, black linen leg wraps, veteran's eye scar
more information on my choices and dragon stuff ill put under the cut if y'all are curious
for those of you who don't play flight rising, guardian dragons are absolutely massive, averaging 14-16 meters (46-52 feet) in length from head to tail. wingspan averages around 16-18m (52-59ft) from wingtip to wingtip, and with a staggering average weight between 9,000-10,000 kilograms (20,000-22,000 pounds).
I chose the guardian breed specifically for aizawa shouta because of their lore in-game. guardian dragons, as their name suggests, are guardians by nature. As they age, they instinctually embark on a quest called The Search, to find the thing(s), place, or person(s) they are meant to protect. A guardian dragon without a charge (their chosen/destined protectee) is not considered to be a full dragon yet; a guardian who fails to protect their charge will often choose to waste away and die in shame because losing a charge is a massive blight on their honor. i imagine that his class counts as his charges, as we see in canon he will give all he can give in an attempt to keep his students safe.
multi-gaze as an eye choice was something i was tossing around in my brain for a bit. i chose the plague element specifically for the saturated red eye color, though if i was going with the manga interpretation of his eye color i likely wouldve selected the light element instead. though the in-game art style doesnt do my mental image justice, i had the idea of his extra eyes being in the center of his larger rosettes on his body, being hidden into the pattern when the eyes are closed.
the contour gene was something i was also toying with a bit, i actually have a personal grudge against this gene in particular, but with the grey color it works well with aizawa, representing his capture weapon well. I actually have a scry of shinsou hitoshi as a dragon and he has the same dust contour gene for the same reason. the light grey also breaks up the dark colors of his body, adding a nice contrast. The 'obsidian' coloring on his primary and secondary gene works really well too, because its darker and cooler toned than the 'black' color, and in the case of his wings it has a red secondary coloring that perfectly matches the plague eye color.
the leg enhancement and scar should be kind of obvious if you're caught up on his injuries in canon. i specifically chose the obsidian color for the enhancement, because his prosthetic is also a light silvery grey type of color, and the black interior works well with his color scheme (compared to the cinnabar color, with the same exterior color but a glowing red interior). the black interior does not emit any light, which i think works better for him personality wise.
anyone who knows flight rising may notice that i chose the female 'pose' as compared to the male, and i did this for a few reasons.
the female 'pose' stands tall, with the head and tail lifted up and legs mostly straightened out, whereas the male 'pose' is crouched low to the ground, with the head close to the floor, body hunched in on itself, and tail curled around the body. for aizawa specifically, i like the 'tall and proud' vibe more
i hate the beard the males have, i dont know why but i just hate it so much
the male head is turned the opposite way as the female, so the veteran's eye scar would be on the wrong eye
trans aizawa is one of my biggest personal headcanons
bonus: aizawa with kitties
Tumblr media
black cat, scottish fold, calico cat, orange tabby, mainecoon

So, its been a while huh?
BNHA has come back into my brain full swing, and with that it brings new ideas and brainrot!
I'll be putting the idea under a Read More so I'm not clogging up anyones pages lol. Below, is a prompt/outline/drabble(?) of Aizawa Shouta if Buckshot Roulette existed in My Hero Academia.
Buckshot Roulette
Right out of graduation, Aizawa was basically homeless. Sure, hes a pro hero now, but the pay is low and its more convenient to just live out of his sleeping bag in alleys or under bridges. But even then, he needs money to buy food, replace his hero costume/scarf, and pay medical bills. Money he just doesn't have.
During a mission, he stumbles upon a really seedy club. Rumor has it that there is a game and a dealer, just barely on the right side of legal. A game that has a massive payout, but a massive risk, as the player's life is their wager. Underground this game is known as Buckshot Roulette, or Buckshot more simply.
At this point in his life, Aizawa has little to live for and even less to lose. This is still in the depths of his depressive spiral after Oboro's passing several years prior, and is quite possibly the lowest point he's been at to date. With his only support system -his friends Hizashi and Nemuri- firmly cut out of his life, Aizawa takes a gamble and decides to play.
The Dealer's quirk is simple. So long as they are in the confines of the same room, The Dealer can prevent someone from dying (including themself) via revival and rapid healing as long as they are attached to a blood transfusion system. If the person dies a certain amount of times in a set range of time, or a different specific criteria (such as a round of the game), a defibrillator is needed for revival.
Aizawa plays the game, and wins. At some point he reunites with his friends, and starts to get his life together. Of course, if money is needed, Aizawa is willing to secretly put his life on the line again and again to keep his friends happy and safe. After many rounds and years of getting lucky, he manages to pull himself away completely and swears himself away from the seedy club where it all started.
That is, until The Dealer tires of his absence and decides to take matters into their own hands.
Of course, it's the students who get caught in the crossfire. Each and every one of them was silently taken from their beds in the dorms, bound by quirk suppression cuffs and thick, heavy chains with padlocks to prevent any escape.
Aizawa is ordered to the club by a ransom note, and is offered a choice.
He can choose to play a game of Buckshot. If he wins, he and all the students go scott free with no debt to The Dealer. Of he loses, he dies and every student must play their own game of Buckshot for their lives. Or he can walk away, guaranteeing his own survival, forcing the students to fend for themselves and play their own games.
We all know what he decided to do. He's Eraserhead, the guy who has put himself in danger time and time again to save his kids. He picks up the rifle and begins.
As the game is played, Aizawa explains to his students generally how the game works, and which items do what. Being repeatedly shot in the head does not help with memory, so the students help him keep track of how many of each type of shell there is. Sometimes, as they get the hang of the rules, they'll even offer advice and calculations on the probability of certain outcomes.
After a long game of Buckshot Roulette, Aizawa Shouta walks away from the table victorious, with all of his kids (and a splitting headache) in tow. Metaphorically. In reality, they're essentially dragging him out the door because of all the blood loss and shots to the head affecting his balance and ability to walk and think properly once the adrenaline wears off.
~~~
If I were to write this for myself, I would write out the whole game in detail, prolly with the help of the actual game itself. Feel free to use with credit, I've had this idea for ages and would love to see it a reality.
As always, likes do near nothing on Tumblr so I would really appreciate it if you would reblog this post if you liked it!
yet another secondary quirk for aizawa au because i cannot help myself
bonus: its based on a movie ive never seen before, but desperately wanna see, Encanto
thought i would try something new, so new format!!
NOTES FOR QUIRK DATABASE: DUE TO THE NATURE AND VOLATILITY OF FUTURE RELATED QUIRKS, NOTHING FROM THIS FILE IS TO BE DELETED. STRIKE THROUGH SECTIONS HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO BE UNTRUE, HOWEVER, SO PLEASE SEE EDITS IN RELATION TO STRIKETHROUGHS.
User: Aizawa, Shouta
Quirk: Prophecy (secondary)
Age upon Diagnosis: 3
Other Affiliated Quirks: Erasure (primary)
Tells: Eyes take a gold glow and hair floats, not to same degree as primary quirk (See: Erasure)
Triggers: based on sensory input, primarily vision and hearing. No specific criteria need to be met, seemingly random
Quirk Description: This quirk grants the user the ability to see into the future! The user disassociates and has visions of the future, often accompanied by auditory hallucinations and 'flashbacks' to vision for the next few hours/days, or until it comes to pass. These visions are always accurate and should be taken at face value.[1]
Warnings and Precautions: The user's words can change the future, and as a precaution the user should avoid speaking unnecessarily.[2] This quirk can not easily be controlled, and any attempt may result in disaster on either the part of the user or another.
Edits: [1] Because the future is so volatile, these prophecies are not always accurate and can change in time. The more complex the vision, the less likely it is to be accurate, as there are more variables. Time between vision and prophecy may also impact accuracy. [2] On occasion, words said unrelated to Prophecy may accidentally trigger quirk.
another late night update: (2 nights in a row wow i know, shocking)
hear me out
Aizawa Shouta didnt grow up in Japan
now you might be thinking, "hey OP what are you on" and to that i respond with adderal, monster energy and sleep deprivation
His mother is japanese, she emigrated when she was in her twenties, to the good ol United States and settled down in the south where she married her husband and had Shouta
he grew up learning english and japanese side by side, fluent in both at a young age. he learned how to cook from his parents, all sorts of american and japanese foods, learning culture from both sides. when he was older, he decided he would be a chef to bring these dishes to others, maybe even a teacher. he loved cooking so much, it was a good stress reliever and something that he could pour his whole heart and soul into
While he was bullied for his quirk at school, he learned to hone it from his dad, who also had a sight based quirk. that was actually part of the reason he decided to be a chef, he didn't need his 'demonic' quirk for cooking, and so less people would know about it. he never liked being in the spotlight anyways.
when he was 14 he did a study abroad trip to japan for 4 weeks, he was homed with the Iida family, who taught him more about the culture and heroism in japan. While he was with them, though, something happened with his parents back in the states, an unfortunate villain attack that left both dead.
with no immediate family, he was offered a permanent spot with the Iidas instead of going into foster care. he decided there that he would be a hero to stop as many deaths as he could. he gave up cooking as regularly as he did to train constantly so he could apply to UA, where his (now) brother Tensei was also applying. of course, he was upset about having to drop his dream for this, but he was determined. he didnt much feel like cooking anyways, the passion behind it just . . . wasnt there without his parents
he got into gen ed, and won the festival to earn his place alongside his brother in the hero course
the rest is pretty much the same, he stops cooking pretty much all together, work and teaching stopping him all together from even cooking recreationally. no one except the iidas really even know he *can* cook
that is until he gets injured in a battle
his injuries keep him from working all together, no teaching or patrolling for a month or more. he gets bored, his daughter eri gets hungry. he makes her food. and remembers his passion for cooking
he starts to relearn all the things he had forgotten over the years, goes through cookbooks and old recipes his parents had left him in their wills. he teaches eri how to do basic things so she could help him. he cooks for family dinner with the iidas for the first time in years.
and if when he comes back to teaching just *that* much happier, his students dont say a thing about it.
reblogs are better than likes please and thank you thats just how this god forsaken website works
aizawa can act
its really late and im tired bare with me and hear me out
mans can act
he only uses it in situations where it's really necessary, or for training purposes. he doesn't like doing it, it's manipulative and can tarnish his reputation, but sometimes he just gotta cus his life's on the line. (that or the scary mouse in charge makes him to train and 'desensitize' the kids)
in a life or death it may look something like this
"we're only gonna let you go once we completely break you, then we send you back to UA and then the league won't overshadow us anymore."
"ok" (proceeds to pretend to break a few days later so he gets out with a better chance of recovery and so he can kick their asses later)
in a training situation it'll prolly b more like
"ok kids, youre gonna go into that room one by one and your only goal is to not let the captive out"
"ok"
and in the room is aizawa realistically fake sobbing in a metal cell begging to be let free, manipulating them into letting him go under orders of that damned principal
reblogs over likes please thats just how tumblr works
ayo im back, have a vague idea i'm typing at 11:45pm when i should be asleep
aizawa costume upgrades
basically i just give him some more tech to make his job as a nocturnal underground hero a little easier, going from top to bottom (yes it will be cat themed, fight me)
head
a headpiece with a few features enhancing senses, including
a cat ear type attachment that makes his hearing much more sensitive, bonus theyre on swivels like a real feline so he can direct his hearing
visor replacing his goggles for night vision and built in magnifying glass/binoculars
torso and arms
more protection on chest, back and arms, while still allowing for easy movement
prolly thin kevlar or another fabric, not metal
gloves
paw pad grips for aesthetics also obvious enhanced grip
possible retractable claws for attack and climbing?
belt
tail attachment for better balance?
legs and feet
again, more protection
boots
again, paw treads for aesthetic and grip
*again* maybe retractable claws for attack and climbing
padding for softer landing (like uraraka but much less bulky)
yea i realize i just described a member of the wild wild pussycats, lets say he is either an honorary member or that one member they don't publicly talk abt cus underground work (but he is a full member of the team and agency)
hi yes i have come back so soon to give you my late night ramblings~
quirk combination!
the way this one works is actually relatively short and easy
When they were in highschool, Eraserhead, Present Mic and Midnight were hit with a quirk. the quirk was called Shuffle and what it did was took their quirks and shuffled them up by taking the trigger and effect and mixing them up, making new quirks.
at first, they didnt notice because they still had their natural quirks of Erasure, Voice, and Somnambulist, but when the police got there to help and the existence of Shuffle was revealed, the three realized that each of them had a new quirk to train. while it was *supposed* to only be temporary, somehow it ended up a permanent affect.
Aizawa ended up with what he named Lullaby, with Somnambulist’s effect and Voice’s trigger. Lullaby’s effect was basically that if someone were to hear Aizawa singing, they would fall asleep. it only works with songs that are lullabies or can be sung as such, so an upbeat song wouldnt work. the effectiveness of the quirk varied based on how tired a person is, if they’re fighting against the quirk, and if they know of its existence.
Mic called his Null Mist, with Erasure’s effect and Somnambulist’s trigger. He can release a gas/mist from exposed skin, and if someone is touching or is in that mist, their quirk would not work. it does not work on those unattracted to men, and those with mutation type quirks.
Midnight lovingly named hers Deafening Glare, consisting of Voice’s effect (in a way) and Erasure’s trigger. The way it works is if someone is her line of sight and she has DG active, they experience the same effects they would if they were blasted with Voice. That means ringing ears, temporary loss of hearing, loss of balance, bleeding from the ears, excruciating headache, the whole nine yards. the effect ends when they leave her line of sight, or if she blinks, just like Erasure. DG is not affected by protective wear like headphones and ear plugs.
all three collectively decided to not reveal the existence of their new quirks because in Aizawa’s case, it would be very useful for underground work, and in the other’s cases, Erasure is tied to it so eventually someone would find out about Aizawa and Erasure, putting him significantly more at risk. naturally it was for the best if no one (other than those necessary) knew about it.
reblogs appreciated!
ok so,,,,,,,uhhhh i have no idea how to put this one to words so bare with me here (also i turned off autocorrect and am too tired to go back and correct this with a fine tooth comb)
Fnaf AU
yeah yeah i know,,,,your prolly thinking “oh are the students the souls?” well jokes on you, no thats not where im going with this!
basically, the games exist in this universe and are based off an actual event that happened in Musutafasu that happens about 5 years before canon. (or, at least the *first* game is and the series took off from there, but that’s irrelevant)
but before all that, theres one thing i have to mention. Due to “Quirk Shinanigans” (an actual term used in the hero community), Aizawa ended up with a child at 18. the child was named Fritz, and Aizawa raised him with his friends, Fritz’s ‘aunt’ and ‘uncles’ Nemuri, Hizashi, and Tensei, as well as Tenya being raised as his cousin.
Fritz was an exitable child, with curly black hair and gold eyes that seemed to glow in low light. He loooved to explore and run around, never really liking to be kept in one place for too long. he was a late bloomer with his quirk, he hadn’t developed it by 5 so they got him checked and he didnt have the extra joint, but because of the circumstances of his creation thwy didnt know when his quirk would develop or what it would be.
for his 7th birthday, he wanted to go to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a restaurant they had been to before and that he had really enjoyed. so of course, Aizawa invited Fritz’s aunt, uncles and cousin to join them for the celebration.
the rest, as they say, is history.
he was killed that day, in the back room. where the stiry differs, however, from the Fnaf lore, is that the 5 bodies were recovered the same day. the police had found all the bodies in the suits in the back room, so they confirmed their deaths and gave the bodies to the paramedics so funeral arrangements could be made. the killer was caught and arrested, giving the families at least some peace.
because the killer was a night shift guard, Fazbear Entertainment was hiring until it was decided if the location was going to close or stay open. our dearest Aizawa, seeking closure for his son’s death, had taken the job, and ended up working there for almost 3 months until it was closed down.
during that time, he noted that the animatronics were, in fact, left in free roam mode just like the guy in the phone had said. they mostly just wandered around, occasionally popping by the office, but not really paying him too much mind other than playing scripted dialogue when they saw him or even singing and/or performing if they were in a group. he would often pop by Pirates Cove to watch an out of order Foxy perform and play music through the broken voice box. one of the most odd things he noted, however, is that if he were to sing, the 4 animatronics would gather around and listen like little kids would.
from there, news of the Fnaf game was released, and Aizawa, as well as some of the other parents gave the creator their blessing to make the game. Aizawa had even given him his experiences as the night guard after the horrible event. and thus, Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Horror Game was created.
i do actually have the story for ‘that day’ planned in detail but thats a post for a different time
Dumb idea I came up with a while back because I can
Aizawa but allergic to sunlight
Him being in the sun for even a little bit can cause pretty bad burns, and that’s why he has a costume that covers pretty much everything. He does have a prescription sunscreen, but his insurance doesn’t cover it so it’s hella expensive, so he only uses it if he knows he’s gonna be in the sun with no other option, and even then he only uses it on his hands and face. If he does get burned, he can usually take a quick trip to Recovery Girl so he doesn’t have to deal with it all day. If he has to go out in the sun but isn’t working he usually has a parasol so he doesn’t waste anything, and will even use it for work if it is waaaay to hot for his usual outfit (doesn’t mean he won’t try and almost pass out from heat exhaustion).
This took absolutely forever, and for what.
My main goal is to write something so funny, so amazing,that someone on YouTube makes a comic dub for it. Let’s make it happen, little listeners.
I have a hc that Shouta’s eyes glow red if light hits them just right, kinda like how cat eyes work, and I feel like there has been at least once where Hizashi came home late one night and had a heart attack when he saw them.
OH MY GOD
