being a therian has nothing to do with larp.

but yes. i like comparing them. because being a therian is, in my experience with them both, quite similar to being trans. they are both identities where you feel disconnected from what you were assigned at birth based on your appearance. they both involve change; identity that is different from what you were originally assigned, or assumed to be
