Tumblr closing? The Internet to become even more boring

"Tumblr is losing $30M each year, CEO says" Or is the owners of Tumblr demanding too much of this system? It seems to be a going trend of late that this if something isnt making what you "expected" it to, then it must be some kind of loss and must be either sold off or gotten rid of. Maybe, just maybe Tumblr was never going to be the Facebook/Twitter you thought you wanted it to be and just face up to it that your expectations are too high! Tumblr was NEVER going to be like the others and you know it. Consigning it to the digital dustbin of history will just make the Internet weaker and more boring than it already is. No tumblr, no geocities, no myspace and other so called internet failures really arent that much of failure of people using it, they have been a failure of owner expectations of "making BANK" is the only failure.

Flashback Friday!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….The Cilikis was known (and still is in a way) as the Cilikis Progressio Project.

Back when The Cilikis started back in 2009 as a band, we rehearsed every weekend at Station 13 studios in Coorparoo, Brisbane. Unfortunately it was taken over towards its end and would not survive its new management and its landlord and so went by the wayside, a Brisbane music institution.

I'm getting rather bored of social media.... Ive lost any interest in it as it consumes too much time mentally. But Tumblr is some what different, I can't explain it..
