Alright, we’re back on track for day 4! It seems the theme tying together most of my fics for this year’s bumbleby week is Domestic Bees Fluff.

Hades and Persephone AU, just in time for Bumbleby Week Day 5: AU!

“You shouldn’t be here,” Blake responds, words coated in gravel and holding no weight.

The other goddess shrugs, fingers wrapping gently around a budding bloom, and Blake can taste the dew.

“Probably. But Lady of Hades, you have yet to push me out, so-“

“Call me Blake.”

Please, Blake wants to add, because Lady of Hades was a title, a duty, an atonement for sins too heavy to fall from this woman’s mouth.

I love that en🐝 Blake is such a common head canon and I just had top surgery a few months ago myself. I figured the best bonus I could do is in some ways some self love and ideas/words I wish I had and that Yang would no doubt provide for Blake.

no piece of writing for the bonus/va appreciation day of bumbleby week, but the bees would be nothing without arryn and barbara so they deserve all the appreciation for bringing them to life.

they’re both incredibly talented and blake and yang wouldn’t be the beloved characters they are today without arryn and barbara giving them their voices.

they love and care about blake and yang’s relationship just as much as, if not moreso than, bumbleby shippers, and i hope they know that the way they’re both so open to talking about their relationship, their development, their feelings for one another, and their own love for the ship means so much to me and so many other fans.

so thank you arryn and barbara for being the captains of the bumbleby ship and for being the best blake and yang the fans could ever ask for!! ❤️
