the female’s eyes had widened when she had heard the other’s words. all that she had tried to do was to merely have help her out after a sudden collision of their bodies. it definitely seemed like stephanie’s accident wasn’t much to her pleasure. “i-i’m sorry!” was what stumbles out of her lips as she was fixing herself, grabbing the last few bits that slipped out of her grip when she was sent stumbling back a few steps. “i was just trying to help. are you sure you’re not hurt?” despite the coldness in the other’s voice, she managed to push through as she had learned to deal with multiple personalities that a person had due to her job. however, there was something else in that tone that sent chills to her body, leaving to merely nod at the female had repeated it once more, asking her to leave. she need not say another word and scurried off, her mind wandering to think if she had injured the other in any way.

scared? it was probably something that was almost never present in her vocabulary. if anyone knew her, she wasn’t so easily scared by anything––possibly anything except a thunderstorm. standing further away from the window, she watched the darkness light up with countless sounds of crashing and booming that made her heart skip beats in the worst way possible. the rain had poured when she was out on the road and right away, she needed seek a shelter that was safer than her car. what first came to mind was kit’s place. as burdensome as that might been, she couldn’t bare to be alone at this hour, even if that meant that she had her hands on the male’s arm, gripping onto it as she would squeak at the slightest sound of the thunder that accompanied that heavy rain. 

she didn’t even want to admit the facts to the other, not when she had always had this strong confident aura to her. however, another loud crash came and she finally was able to scream it out, “yes! yes, i’m scared, now will you please just let me stay with you for awhile?”
