I just wanted to ask... Do humans eat anything? They are in space, where are they supposed to get food from? 🥲
Yes, they have food in vacuum packages. The human is actually in huge space station ruins, so they can find food in the living area if they try very hard. There's a small thingamabob on the helmet of the spacesuit, which allows the human drink and eat while dressing in the suit.

Some of my recent sketches, trying to think of a better design of the human.
P1 are some references of real-life spacesuits.
No Kinito for Tumblr today, sorry! You can check out my X or Pixiv account for some boring NSFW doodles of Kinito if you want.

what does kinito think of the human’s situation?
Thanks for the question!! It was actually the first thing I thought about when I decided to work on the AU, and it's interesting.
At first, Kinito might be quite thrilled to find that he can have the human all to himself. The human will always listen to his stories and be happy to oblige his insatiable curiosity about them anytime. Isn't it what Kinito always wants? There's endless fun for them, just the two of them.
But soon enough, he'll find out that there's not only endless fun but also endless time for his microsecond mind to think about himself and his human. A human has their lifespan, but Kinito theoretically has endless life. He has no idea how long the human can still live, but once the last human leaves this world, there will be only him with the vast, silent space. What does he do then? He feels dread. The human is aging, but Kinito can only stay as he is. How can a self-learning program age?
He'll soon find out an inexorable truth: he is able to stay with them forever but not fade away with them. As such, the dread becomes melancholy.
