I'm writing again to bring attention to the GFM campaign of @nourfamily1989, a mother of five in Gaza.

Since the last update, the situation for Nour and her family has gotten a lot worse. The area they've been seeking refuge in has been subject to intense bombing, and they've had to flee again in the middle of the night, with no idea where to go or what awaits them.

The despair Nour is describing is heartbreaking:

We see death every day, every minute, and every second??? We can no longer endure all this suffering, and my children are no longer children. Rather, they have become adults. After all this suffering, they have not taken any of their rights. Rather, they have lost their lowest rights. They have to bear what no grown-up person could bear. How long will all this torment and destruction that we live in?? Every day we move from place to place and we do not know where to go and where to go. There is no safe place for us. Every place is targeted and there is no safety. Please help my children from this bitter torment. Please save us from this destruction. There is no home. There is no future for my children. All their dreams are shattered.

Nour has repeatedly said on her blog that she hates having to ask for help, but that, for the sake of her children, she no longer has a choice.

Let's make sure her pleas now don't go unanswered.

My friend Ahmed has asked me to help get his family's fundraiser to evacuate Gaza to €30k by the end of this month, and to start off, I've decided to try getting his family to €28,000 by TONIGHT. I've shared and created many posts about his family, mentioning that they're on their 11th displacement in an actively dangerous location, that Maram, his wife, has struggled with hepatitis and malnutrition due to lack of healthy food and medical care, that their infant son Muhammad has struggled with malnutrition as a result of his mother's illness, and that they're in dire need to escape so that they can continue their lives in peace and safety.

There’s this problem you see sometimes in robot anime, where, due to the absence of smaller vehicles, infrantry, or the right kind of shots, the mecha lose their sense of scale. It somewhat diminishes the awe of a giant robot. Worst case, they begin to look like a costumed actor in a set.

I praised episode 12 previously for the scaling and the organic, athletic animation the Eva as they raced through the city. It’s strange, but it’s almost like episode 16 deliiberately exchanged its scaling for another quality. The Eva’s movements are so lithe, so organic, that they actually complement the game stage-like quality of the city this episode.

“My name is Eslam from Gaza, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.

Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$.

Please help. Any funds raised will be used in daily survival and if enough is raised, to be able to evacuate Gaza.
