Folks, you can ask for representation without asking to have representation taken away from other people.

You can ask for more bi characters without asking for less gay characters.

You can ask for more interracial couples without asking for them to replace F/F or M/M ships.

You can ask for more F/F ships or M/M ships without asking for them to replace interracial ships.

When you’re asking for a non-canon ship of yours to replace a canon ship that is representation for some group of people, you are always in the wrong, even if your non-canon ship represents some group of people as well.

Basically, you can ask for more representation without trying to get rid of other people’s representation.
