Please explain

Growing up i was very religious (family's choice i was forced to go to church) but as i grew to really know and start to understand the real world. Over the years before denouncing my christianity, i started noticing things that, not just scientifically, morally (morally? Yes, morally, the bible actually has some pretty bad morals in it but thats another story for another time), or physically but just simply logistics. Now the full, pre-king james bible is an insanly long book to read and have to pick out every single instance that correlates with my rant so ill just do one i heard so many times and most people will recognize. *Do not use the lords name in vain* Let me tell you why im so stumped at this seemingly miniscule task, yea? Its not the task at hand. Simple task any idiot could follow. Until man began deciphering it to what they understood instead of finding out what it means (personally i feel like thats become the whole Christian religion in general, would love to see it put back together but wont choose to join back in, see Marcus Aurelius' quote on religion) Everybody says or knows someone who has said "oh my god!" And at least once someone has responded with "dont use yhe lords name in vain!" Lets explain what vain means because, sometimes, from when its been said to me, i dont think a lot of people understand it but use it. It means in anger or to be angry (vain and vanity are totally different this is where dictionaries come in handy) more specifically a very strong feeling of anger. So why, if i see a cute dress or dog or guy or girl or anything that i feel needs appreciation, and i say omg to everything, how os that in vain if im usig it as a form of praise, would he not want his name used in praise then? And why cant i use it in that context but you can tell someone who made you mad that you pray that god's wrath comes down and (smite, justify, insert etc. of choice) and thats spreading the word of god how it that ok and not using his name in vain when youre literally, agrily, VAINLY, tellig someone you hope harm or trouble falls upon them by the hand of your own deity most high? Isnt Christianity about helping less fortunate and waiting until god tells you to stop focusing on the good of someone else so he himself can justify him? I dont think you can tell a deity how to use their power and if you can, theyre not a deity, theyre a genie. TL;DR Dont say omg is a bad use of gods name if youre gonna ask him to lay his wrath upon someone who just made you upset. Turn the other cheek.

so i get home from work after a two mile walk, the first thing i do is check my phone see if i have any messages (it was sunny today so i couldn’t see my screen to use it so i waited) my butterfingers kicks in and it slips and goes sailing towards the floor (carpeted not too worried... until instinct kicks in) when i try to catch it, i propell it into a wall.... hard.... my phone is fucked.... FYI this is my 4th one in the last year and its not that i’m rough, i’m just that clumsy and easily destracted....
