Reema is the cousin of @mohamedabushaban06 (source). A few days ago, I made an emergency promotion to get Mohammed registered for college abroad here (It's not urgent anymore but he can still use support).

She's a 4th (out of 5) year pharmaceutical student currently studying abroad in Egypt after her school in Gaza was destroyed. Pharmacy school is difficult but she has a high average.

She needs to complete her goal of $20,000 CAD by her deadline for university registration, which is Sep 18 in Egypt's timezone. To be safe, I've set this at 12am. As of posting this, she has just under 281 hours (12 days) to reach her goal.

Despite being vetted, her campaign is moving very slowly and she goes days without donations.

As of writing this, she'd need to raise about $375 CAD each day.

first of all my brother Mahmoud, who was martyred in the bombing of the Baptist Hospital. He left behind his children and wife, and my brother Ahmed, whose front leg was amputated in the same bombing. I lost my house, my family's house, and my job. Now we have become homeless, moving from one place to another. We are gripped by fear, terror, and hunger. My daughter suffers from extreme fear and panic, and suffers from lack of food and skin diseases due to the lack of water and cleanliness.

Family trapped in Gaza pleads for survival

A distress call from Gaza to search for safety

I am Ahmed Ayyad from Gaza, from a family of 11 people.

We live in the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair and the sounds of explosions from one ship to another.

We are originally from the north of the Gaza Strip; currently we are in the displacement camps in the south of the Gaza Strip in Mawasi Khan Younis.

In light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times and lost our home due to enemy bombs. We lost all the beautiful things that my family and I used to enjoy.

We urgently appeal for your moral and material assistance to cover the costs necessary to escape to a safe environment, where we can build a better future and ensure the safety of our family.

Hello! I'm making another post to draw your attention to the urgent campaign of Hossam @hossamalbardawel (who is in the pictures above).

I do not think I can even accurately convey the immense losses that Hossam has experienced at the hands of Israel's repeated brutal attacks on Gaza. Hossam's mother, father and all of his siblings were killed when their house was destroyed by an airstrike, leaving Hossam as the only survivor. He is now responsible for taking care of his siblings' children and widows. Please take a moment to absorb the horror of that statement- to lose one's entire family and way of life all at once in such a way is truly unimaginable, but it is Hossam's reality.

Hossam and the remaining members of his extended family desperately need our help. They are displaced, living in a tent that does nothing to protect them from either the intense heat or the cold and rain that is now approaching. Hossam cannot reliably or consistently access the internet, and is also unfamiliar with tumblr. This means his campaign suffers from extreme stagnation despite the urgency and severity of his situation.

Hossam's campaign goal is very achievable, and he has already reached the halfway mark thanks to this site's generosity. I am imploring you to help Hossam secure the funds he needs in order to provide for his nieces and nephews.

Hossam has had to shoulder this immense burden by himself for too long already- please, let's help him as much as we can so that he may have hope for the future and know that he is not alone. We must stand by him.
