Being transgender isn't a box where you have to check all the marks to pass. Gender is complex and different for all. It's all about you feeling comfortable! Even other trans people try to hate "hahha someone named Arson and the pronouns are Bug/xe LOL CRINGE !! So 2020!"

If you want to identify like that, that is okay. Don't care what others think!!

Isn't it crazy how trauma takes up so much of your memory? It causes you to both forget and remember. You just never know when you'll do either.

Dissociating feels like someone wrapping you in saran wrap, sticking you in a box, taping the box shut, and then sending you on a truck that's also on top of a boat but the boats on fire and you're levitating slightly

Obviously that isn't what this is about.

It's about when abusive parents call you manipulative for sharing to people what they did to you and claim you over-exxagerate or had no place to say it and now people aren't on their side.

It can have many meanings but that's just 1 example.

As an aroace I sometimes will look at fictional characters or an actual person and think "Woah, hey, they're pretty/handsome" and then I'll start to question if I'm actually aroace over one person... and I am.

Whenever I start to question it I will ask myself two questions: Would I wanna be romantically involved with them/would I want to be sexually involved with them? And my answer is always no. I just find them aesthetically pleasing

Now of course these questions may not work for every aroace person, but it works for me.

Basically this is post saying that if you're aroace and find someone you think looks nice, that doesn't mean you aren't aroace, you just think they're neat :]
