comfort characters should be normalized. not the whole "oh i love this character, i watch the show just to see them because they bring me comfort!" thing, cuz i think thats already normalized

comfort characters that you can imagine soothing you to sleep should be normalized. imo i lovee imagining my comfort character next to me as i walk to school, or as i fall asleep. i imagine them telling me that everything will be alright.

i think carrying your cc around in your headspace should be normalized. i like it when a character i like comments on things i do in real life. i like talking to them in my head.

crash does too he absolutely loves all 4 of my cats & thinks they're adorable & funny (they seem to love him too) plus he pretty much thinks of them like they're his children because i consider them my furry children too hes just as bad as me when it comes to spoiling them lol

This one is purely self-indulgent, but to any selfshippers out there with pets;

Your F/O’s LOVE your pets. And I mean that so, so genuinely. They don’t get jealous of how much you love your pet- not even playfully if you don’t want- and they most certainly don’t find them ‘loud’ or ‘annoying’ or ‘smelly’. If you have an animal your F/O is afraid of, they know they can trust you and your pet! Hell, your little guy might even help them get over their fears!!

But never in a million years would your F/O tell you to get rid of your pet or mistreat it in the absolute slightest. They’d never make you pick between them and they’d never ever make you feel ashamed or alone in taking care of your pet. It doesn’t matter if it’s exotic or disabled or expensive to take care of- your F/O loves you, and that means loving your pet, too. They know how much your furry friend means to you, and they’d do everything in their power to accommodate and care for them to the best of their abilities <3 and maybe even spoil them a lil too-
