RIP Marquis and Rico. That's 3 deaths so far, and we're not even at Misty yet. I've learned to always expect the RNG to work against you in Nuzlockes. I don't like using evolution stones early; it feels like I'm forcing my children to grow up too soon. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

When my opponent sends out a Pokemon that I also have on my team, I like to send in my own for a mirror match.  I want to prove that my dog is bigger than theirs. This Nuzlocke has taught me to stop doing that.

RIP Rodney.  He died the way he lived: being a filthy rat. Technically the first death of the run, but he was meant to be sacrifice fodder to begin with.  Taking a Gen 1 Wrap is the most noble end a warrior can meet.

Yellow might be cited as one of the easier Nuzlockes, but I’m honestly not sure how runners get past Brock without a Mankey or Nidoran.  Has anyone had their run ended at the first gym? If Pizzle isn’t holding Rodney, that just means he got tired of carried him and dropped him somewhere.  Once he realizes his toy is missing, Pizzle screeches at Blitz to get it back.
