19 Days Drama
So I've been thinking, whatever happened to this project? There hasn't been any updates as I'm aware of since last year, and I was so excited about how it was going to turn out, especially since it's the same director who made Addicted/Heroin. I'm a fan of the webtoon as well.
If you know anything, please let me know!

This is real. Ossan's Love broke me. After binging this whole show on Adam Uni's Facebook page, it has honestly become one of my top all time favourites. For those who haven't watched it, it's about Haruta Soichi who works in a real estate office. He lives with his mother, but one day she gets fed up with him and leaves. Since he can't do basic housework like cleaning and cooking, he asks his co-worker Maki Ryouta who is good at housekeeping to live with him. Haruta never had much luck with women, but seems to have more with men as both his roommate and his boss confesses to him on the same day. This was honestly such an enjoyable show to watch. Great acting, a fun concept and story, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. It has a lot of typical BL tropes, but that are done in a self aware and exaggerated manner. I love a show that can make fun of itself. I literally just finished watching it and already want to watch it again. I'm trying to convince my friend to rewatch it with me. I truly reccomend this to everyone. This show doesn't waste a single minute of it's seven episodes^^

Update on the hidamari ga kikoeru movie I issued a warrant on a long while ago: Noone responded to my pleadings (unsurprisingly), but I got to watch it not that long after Kiyoshi Ryouta posted the subbed movie on their YouTube channel. For those who might have not watched it, it’s about a guy with a loud voice that becomes a note-taker for another student who is hard-of-hearing in exchange for free lunch. (That’s as much of a synopsis that I’m willing to give, I don’t like giving out too much information). I liked it, mostly because of the story that I got to relive since reading the manga a long time ago and remembering it. It’s not a masterpiece in any way (in my opinion), and the romantic sences were painfully akward, but I always liked the characters, the movie looked nice overall throughout, and the guy who played the lead was hella cute. They managed to cram a lot of the original story in there without it feeling too rushed, and I can appreciate that. I can’t remember any specific scenes I liked since it’s been a while since watching, but I recall an overall positive experience, probably partially induced by me having to wait so long before watching it since there were no subtitles, which from that lead me into hyping the movie to shit.

You probably know already, but two of the series from HIStory 2 is out, and I have been a bit behind recently, though I finally just finished watching “Crossing The Line”. I just want to say: I legitimately had to take a fifteen minute break during the last episode. I ripped my headphones off and went on Twitter to yell at my clueless friends (who have still not responded btw), and then calmed down while looking at memes. It’s not like it was particularly bad or anything, it was just very cringy in a sort of positive way. The scene in question I reacted that strongly to was (spoiler alert) when Yu Hao was giving his monologue to Zi Xuan about how much he loves him in front of Zi Xuan’s sister, who was also confessing to Yu Hao. I don’t know if it would be in any way possible to not make that scene emotionally tormenting.
Either way, I really liked this show for what it was worth, and I was honestly living for that side couple. I would totally love to see more of them, because they were adorable, and I didn’t really feel like their story was properly completed.

These are the first scenes of the live action movie of Hidamari Ga Kiokeru. The movie has been out for four months, but I still have not been able to find English subs. It looks great really amazing, and I am really excited to watch it. Do I have to be patient? If anyone knows anything about where things are right now, and in any case when people will be able to watch it, that would be naise~ Anyway, that is all, thanks.

Movies in 360p makes me depressed. And this is one of those Movies i'm not able to find subbed online in any higher quality. I rewatched it recently, and was reminded how much i like it. It is an office romance, boss and subordinate type. When i read the manga it is adapted from, i remember not liking it that much, no real particular reason why. Watching the movie, I realized what manga it was from, but i liked the story way better in this akward format. I'm weird like that. Other then that, this Movie is very similar to another film called "Candy and Kiss", who is also Japanese, adapted from a manga (also 360p ;-;), so if you like this movie and haven't checked that out i would reccomend.
If you by any chance know a higher quality version of this, i would love to know.

I finished this season of Advance bravely a while ago, and goddammit you guys, please, I just want to watch the next season. The actors fit the roles really good, and I think the acting was ok, I don’t really know how to judge that though. I felt like this show was satisfying in a way. A lot of shows, when they end, I often think “I wish this and that happened, it was a missed opportunity”. It has the right pacing, at least for me. It doesn’t drag on for too long, but it doesn’t feel like too much is crammed into it either.
And I feel like I am the only one who liked the sister character. Am I really? I mean, wasn’t she cute though? Honestly, I had no problem with her, because Yuan was there before she could get too annoying.

I think I need emotional support after watching this, honestly. It was a roller coaster indeed (Yes, I watched both the 1 and 2 movie, to clarify). I mean, I just wanted that chopper to crash at the end tbh, I was angry. Xiao Chen deserves better, you can’t just beat up somebody’s family for god’s sake (also kidnapping and rape OwO). And the mother, did she die out of shock because her sons are gay? Was that the only reason she was at the hospital? I feel like I laughed at the wrong places for most of this movie, but it was very enjoyable. My favourite thing in the world is a good overdramatic shouting scene. And I just got to say, Xiao chen’s soft voice had me dead, especially at the beginning when they were younger. That’s my weakness y’all, I’ve been hit TT  ~
But the cover of the second movie reminds me of ten count, and I can’t get over it; is it only me?

I was reluctant to write about this show at first, because I thought it was going to end up as a mindless rant, but honestly, I was pissed when the final episode ended, and nothing about what happened with Farm and Bright (my favourite couple) was resolved. I thought what happened between them was interesting, and was excited about finding out what actually happened, and maybe they would dive into this theme, but NO, NOTHING OF THE SORT. Instead they decided to make innocent Farm a bad boy and ruin my faith in humanity. *sigh*. This became a slight rant afterall, but nonetheless, the rest of the show was good. Knock and Korn were spicy, and I at least thought they had good chemistry. Thought the “I don’t want to break up with my girlfriend” trope was strong, it made the ending even more satisfying.

I Am Yor King: the aftermath - First of all, I got to see the beautiful boy Newyear act, witch I am very happy with. Though that was a good experience, it does not say the same for the actual show. I mean, they tried, I can clearly tell, but I think there’s too much “stuff” crammed into five episodes. The characters weren’t properly introduced or established, and it is in general hard to pay attention to the story. Basically, it is about a group of friends playing “the king’s game”, where one gets to decide what the others do (or something like that). there’s love drama between the group of friends(I won’t explain any more then that, but it’s elaborate). Though it is not completely clear who is, Newyear plays what I would consider the main character, and he is traveling to China to study (?), Witch is the main thing that sets of the events in the show (kind of), and I am assuming they are building for a season to “after he returned” type of thing or something like that, but that’s just me assuming. I’ll just say there’s a lot of stuff that happens I don’t really think makes sense. Though besides the mess, I guess the show was alright. I love excessive drama anyway, so I had no problem watching it.

Does anyone have that problem where you watch something and then immediately after just forget almost the entire plot and everything that happened? Because I have that problem and it's real annoying. Sometimes in the weekends I binge several movies in a row, and they kind of just blend together weirdly. But nevertheless, I remember liking this movie 'For Love, We Can'. (After looking it up on mydramalist) I refreshed my memory, and recall it is about this guy Jun that is gay, and in a relationship with another guy, but his mother is having a hard time accepting him (and some other stuff about STDs). It's not my favourite short film, but it is good. Not so light and fluffy, not stretched out too long.

Joon jae and Takuya from the lover. One of my all-time favourite couples. I remember watching the show for the first time and thinking “wow, so this is why everyone loves them so much”. I felt so empty after finishing, usually I can move on almost immediately after watching a show, like “on to my next BL, haha~”, but then I just sat there for a while, kind of just thinking. I kind of had to scream into my pillow one time, to get it out of my system. Recently I found out that Takuya is in a kpop group called cross gene, and that made me happy. I watched him together with my own favourite group on Weekly Idol, and it was kind of like two words colliding, really strange. But I think I am rambling now, the show was great, I loved it, the only minus is no smooching (though some hardcore deleted scenes of lotion- rubbing action here: https://youtu.be/4PnlNBHKd7o ). thanks for your time.

2 moons. Overall it was good, though it felt a bit fake (i often feel like that with thai bl, mabye it’s just me?). The guys were handsome, and when there’s a character named ‘kitkat’, you can’t complain, right? I was actually in the mood for some high school romance, so it was perfect timing for me when I watched it. I usually watch things without knowing anything, so I really went in blind, and I wasn’t disappointed, tho I felt it stretched a bit long. Already excited for season two, I want to see more of kitkat~

Addicted Heroin is a web series. A very good one. I love it. It is my favourite. I'm sorry, but I can't express my joy for this excisting in the world, and there's a reason why i have watched this way too many times. It doesn't feel forced, and i love how the characters interact with eachother, slowly building their relationship, changing over time. Watching them become closer over time made me fall deeply in love with the characters. It really made me sad when i found out there will be no season two, since it left on a cliffhanger, but i can always read the novel to find out what happens. (I really should, just by writing this makes me want to know badly)

So this short film, 'just friends?', is one that i love very much. It has a decent story, good actors with great chemistry and for once there's a happy ending. I am glad i found it, and somehow always come back to it whenever i feel like watching some higher quality bl. (What i mean is in the steamy scenes it seems like they actually want to kiss eachother, more genuine then some other titles Iv'e seen(I'm sorry, don't hate me, this is my opinion))

I recently watched this move, “The Blue Hour”. I was smart enough not to read the genre, so i was a bit spooked finding out that this is horror, but this has become one of my favourite movies. It has that artistic value to it that i don’t usually see that often, and i really enjoy the underlying unsettling feeling it has throughout. This movie takes its time, and doesn’t outright say all the characters’ thoughts, but conveys them through other measures instead, and i like that. I will probably rewatch it at some point, because i still haven’t quite figured out what happened at the end, but i will try my hardest to understand~

Hello tumblr, I'm making this blog
I feel like i have watched a decent amount of BL dramas and movies, to the point where i am scraping for more good things to watch, but i am not that good at writing reviews, so i decided to create this blog so i can improve my skills. I will talk about the dramas i watch as i watch them, in addition to some i have seen before.
