THE NRK STRIKE ENDS

Summary The strike officially ends at midnight, this was revealed during a press conference on Wednesday night. 1700 employees legally put down their work on Tuesday 15 May, 13:00. The demands were met, and things will start up again tomorrow. They promise it won’t take long for everything to be back to normal.  

YAY! Yay for the employees and yay for us for getting more Blank soon.

The beginning of this clip felt a little awkward to translate, because they are singing and discussing the lyrics of the norwegian nation anthem and idk I felt like I might offend someone if I didn’t translate that correctly. So I hope I did an ok job heh.  Also, I’m sorry it took me so long but I just wasn’t feeling well earlier and then my computer didn’t want to co-operate. And as much as I wish to be consistently fast with every single clip that’s just not realistic. Life happens and I can’t always prioritise this, but I think most of you understand that. Anyway, time to stop rambling and give you the link to the clip. Here you go!

Just so international viewers don’t get worried if Blank content isn’t published for a while:

The director-general of NRK, Thor Gjermund Eriksen, mentioned in an interview today that Blank may be affected by the strike. He also said that they may continue to publish what has been filmed already. This depends on whether the crew working on Blank is on strike or not, there aren’t many details out yet.

I really love that Ella and Simen's dynamic is very silent?? It can seem weird from an outsider perspective because Ella doesn't speak much and you'd think to "balance her" she'd need someone loud and talkative like Mats. But... Simen is just perfect for her? Mostly because SINCE she doesn't talk much, you have to watch out for her body language, and other subtle non-verbal cues, to know how she's feeling about a moment. Simen does that naturally, he's so focused on her!

i cant believe how much chemistry they had while saying 2 words to each other. they really seem to fit so well together even though we don’t know much about him. the scene in bed was so sweet they didnt need to say anything but it was so intimate (excuse me while i go cry in a corner)
